Smile.... Big smile for no reason at all, that video clip crosses my mind at least once a week. WHY it is a part of my weekly thought life, I have no idea.

but'cha know... when people become infuriated like that, it's usually over accusations that are... true

That's a myth. I get infuriated over things that aren't true all the time. Accuse me of something I didn't do, publicly denigrate me, or treat me like I am your inferior and I will generally get very mad, to a greater or lesser degree. I probably won't say much though; you'll just see my face turn a unique shade of purple as my blood pressure goes through the roof. Lol ..sad, but sort of true.

The irony is that Stanley Kubrick gets accused of being the collaborator, and he's the one who left America for England because of his own paranoid conspiracy theories about the Gold Standard (amongst others) ! Big smile

Buzz Aldrin's Race into Space (BARIS) was one of my first ever videogames.

All those memories..I still remember when a mission was rated 90% safe it would ALWAYS result in your rocket exploding and countless civilian deaths.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

If you redefine what the word "usually" means, then sure.
You know, if you will, a broader concept of the word "usually", which would mean something more along the lines of "every now and then it could conceivably happen".

Ah, yes, the fun of what the game tells you your virtual scientists believe they should tell you -vs- what actually virtually happens... oh, the exquisitely simulated jerkishness of the universe Lol
That game makes you want to go "they had only so few deaths in reality ? daaaaaang !"

I can't find the Tweet right now, but during the Grammy's Buzz made some comment about Jack White comparing him to Johnny Depp in a hilarious comment !

I mean, the dude isn't exactly youngish, but he sure keeps up with things, amazingly.

He may be trying to give George Takei some competition for King of the Interwebs Lol

Fixed that for you.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Played the hell out of that game when it came out.

Never could get a manned moon mission to work.

Still have a copy of it somewhere that is the mess that I like to refer to as my computer area.

I'll definitely give this new one a look see. I couldn't be any worse at it then I am at Orbiter.... Roll

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.
