One time I was in a gang of say 15-20 T1 frigs, we catch a Loki and start killing him. He lights a cyno, hot-drops 3 triage Archons. we split, then they call us noobs...

Frankly the fact that you're worrying about a single pvp situation involving ships worth a fraction of a billion suggests that you have failed at EVE. This sort of thing really does not concern the elite at all.

To OP:
You have a knack to telling a story (or true events for that matter).

I can relate to the whole transport ship "PvP" ordeal and to the whole "balance of powers" that was going on there.

Dont think the OP was concerned as much with isk as the just the process and mentality over all. What makes one elite? ISK? number of ships? Sov?

The people that consider themselves to be elite are the ones I dont care to meet, with the exception to make em go boom.
