I've seen several other postings and none had a way to actually do what the OP was asking. I originally wanted to simply post the answer to one of those threads w/o opening a new one .. but alas they were all locked ...

So - how do you clean those unwanted names from the log in screen so that only your active ones are visible.

Heads up .. this is for XP as my game machine is still old skool.

C:\Documents and Settings\%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\d_eve_eve-client_tranquility\settings\core_public__.yaml

edit this core_public__.yaml file in notepad++ or similar. On last line you should see the cached names of users that have logged in.

Example: [user1, user2, unwanted_user] is corrected to read [user1, user2]

Done - nothing is lost other than the unwanted character log in.

While I can't confirm this if you're on Win7 the path should be something like -

C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\d_eve_eve-client_tranquility\settings\core_public__.yaml

and as always ...
