hi guys just got back from the veto meet in London. was talking with a few guys there about an idea for NPC corps and seemed to hit a good note. so thought I would come and make a post see what ya think.

on simple easy fix NPC corps are for new players as it where. so why does ccp not just put a bar on what ships you can fly while in a NPC corp. In the same way trial accounts are bottlenecked in what they can and can't train/fly. i.e. if in a NPC corp. you can't fly anything that is not flyable on a trial account.

this would stop npc boosters, hauler/ jump freighter alts for large corps/alliances being able to do what they want and when they want with no repicutions from the wardec there main corp./alliance is part of.

just thought I would put this idea out there see what you think.

please don't hit me with a wall of flames real want some constructive comments or just keep them to yourself and move along. thanks guys take care fly safe and hopefully we can get a well thought out discussion going here.

Since you propose a 'fix', it is traditional to lay out a demonstrable problem first.

So: what's the problem again?

I am amazed at the number of proposals to fix some unknown problem. I'm still trying to figure out where this latest one even emerged from.

Not sure myself either, tbh.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

That is because the problem has been afk cloaked in this thread the entire time.

Yeah. Even I am against "NPC Immunity". But this thread just lacks substance.

Slap some butter on the bread. Dip it in a nice thick spicy stew. Rub some spices on it. Do something.

As it stands, this thread lacks substance.

Now I will go back to watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off™.

Thank you.

Also, mmmmm... spicy stew.

so...

I want to change corps or I am taking an eve break so to keep the corp roster cleaned up I voluntarily leave it..

I need to drop corp and chill in a NPC to do so.

Lets say I have several ships on the ban list.

I then need to make an alt, give them a corp then contract stuff to them.

Then I can drop corp and go NPC

then contract all my stuff back to me whenever I join the new player corp.

And this makes sense because....?

The problem is NPC corps (more or less) prevent you griefing someone to the extent the game is unplayable for them and some people have nothing better to do than take griefing to the extreme.

gank..run missions...gank...run missions.

I know lots of wealthy and successful gankers. the above is their secret. they don't blow their loads on chump change t1 bs' maybe running 1 midgrade ds shield fitting like say a DG booster. They save up sec status to take the hit for targets actually worth killing. making a carebear hide and dump corps does not hurt them much. Now when that ganker in mission runners clothing one day brings down that uber DS fit bs...that really makes the tears flow. And it pays much better.

Or just go out of empire. You actually might find a real good fight out there. Or you will at least have targets to shoot. Nice thing about NBSI....lots of targets.
