I have a question for all of you bittersweet vets with your multi account dualboxing skillz.
I have been considering getting myself a second account lately, but my computer is so slow that it even has problems running my single account when lots of pewpew is happening- so with a second account, would my computer not just overheat hopelessly and then melt itself towards the earth core?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Not bitter :) anyway. No, it shouldnt, but you will get serious hit in pc performance if you have trouble with one client.

I got Intel Q6600 with Nvidia GTX 460, runs two clients just fine.

Zimmy, I made the jump from 3 to 5 simultaneous clients and invested blew... http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CbYr

using my 5 monitors (Samsung PX2370 refurbished for $195 each) and sinking some more $ in to cables and some networking equipment (2x Netgear R6300 802.11 ac wireless routers, to use one as a bridge for a 5 Ghz Gigabit+ wireless network extension)

easily cleared $4,000 to run five simultaneous clients at 60fps..........

how much do you want it!

and added a $1100 60-inch LED TV, and a new PS3 for Dust

My problem is just that I realize more and more how impractical it is to have both industrial and combat skills on the same character. I was just thinking about getting me some npc-corp lackeys for hauling and trading.
Yeah, right...there should be no need to multibox then.
And probably it would even work with an alt on the same account- I don't think that the alt would ever need more than 10M SP for the tasks I will assign to him.

Meh...still pondering.

zimmy, bare minimum for 2 or 3 clients is all in the video card... my last card was a 5770 and it handled 3 fine. something like this would work

in fact, I have, and passed~ i was an air traffic controller (radar) as my first job in the military. i have a pink card.

When I graduate and have money (lol money...) I plan on building an 8 monitor monster.
The asteroids will become one with me, and I with them...

In the mean time I'm looking to be replacing my graphics card, my computer keeps freezing in the middle of things and it happens when in either games or playing youtube...

I used to be too, and at certain point all my ships had names like "Mikuru", "Asakura Ryoko" and so... Lol Some fascinating character albeit the story kind of derailed with so many time shifts...

I was thinking about the "dissappearance" arch. I actually watched all Endless 8. but well, in 2007 I was not playing EVE, I joined like september or october 2008.

As for divinity, well, obviously it was her and she never really resetted the universe. One of the themes with Suzumiya Haruhi is that any humanized god is vulnerable to its humanity, if even just because sometimes a girl must be kissed.

Thats true, but I realised that theres a good case for Kyon being god and everything being arranged around him to stabilise the world. I took it to mean that you gotta take a bit of chaos on your life to make it worth living, regardless of what you use as your rock to stand on and look out from.
