Where do you troll now?

I've been back lurking in Eve Forums for a few months now, and I'm saddened by the pitiful state of trolling in Eve forums these days. Once a bustling hub of all kinds of scammers, trolls, threadjackers, generic asshats, and other lowly life forms, the forum discussions of today seem dismally appropriate and unimaginatively mature.

After CCP killed C&P and CAOD forums, where do you guys troll these days? Has the trolling moved on to other, previously clean forums, like sell orders and skill discussion? Or have the previously active hives of scum, like Kugu, sneakily poached the dirt of Eve Forums?

Where do today's Xenurias, Singeabooty Rajs, Lady Spanks, Unsuccessful at Everythings, Surfin's PlunderBunnies, Tom Gerards, Max Doobies, Nicolo da'Vicenzas, Large collidable objects (dat face!), Lana Torrins, CCP Punkturi, and other provocateur champions loiter? Where can I now find trolls trolling other trolls?

OP, you could just check the posting history of those persons and quickly find an answer to your question.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

The ******* moderators ruined everything.
I used to have such a great time here seeing threads getting derailed marvelously or people being humiliated publicly in such a great fashion.
It was simply a much clever and intelligent forum posting.

One of my favorite (threads) was the great ~generic thread~ of complaints on CCP and eve in general, ah that one was a gem.

CCP finally figured out that running a public-facing forum requires regular moderation.

But, as is typical of CCP, they went from one extreme to another.

Seriously, my 8 year old nephew actually says Trolololol like a word when something amuses him. He picked it up from Minecraft servers i imagine. I'm not sure i get the idea, or at least every example of trolling i'v ever seen has seemed so meaningless and infantile i just feel kinda creeped out by the people doing it.

How exactly is it funny to write a post and see if anyone replies? Even if your original post was obviously fake or something and made the responder look a bit silly for not recognising it, you could scrape more comedic cleverness from a redneck stand-up comedian.

Wouldn't change anything about eve's sinister atmosphere or the possibility for asshats, i like it like this. But aren't "trolls" kinda making fun of themselves first and foremost for needing this kind of tiny boost in their life? Fair enough if you're 8 that kinda things funny as hell.. For grown-ups it seems like a deliberate waste of your own time not other peoples..

Even I don't think Xenuria, Lady Spank, or Surfin's Plunderbunny are trolls. I don't know enough about Singapore.

Xenuria is just 'different', I've never known Lady Spank to give inaccurate information, and Surfin's Plunderbunny is hilarious.

Perhaps try a real list of Trolls next time.

Confirming that reading eve-o forums was more entertaining when I got into it in late 2010.

Eve-o forums were popular for a reason: They were just so hilarious amusing to read. I still remember some epic threads there and giggle lika girl.

And guys - the troll filled eve-o forums gave birth to a lot of Eve memes. Because of exactly what Ammzi above wrote. If everyone had been polite and nice and goodposting, what memes would there be?
