Request Concerning the New BC. *Spoiler Alert*

Everytime one of these so-called "Miners" starts a whine-thread like this, it makes me want to punch them in the face (in game of course Blink) and with the new Battlecruisers I might just do that.

Gank-whining is almost as bad as those whining about people stealing "their roids" lmfao.

Welcome to EvE, where everything is PvP centric and its a cold dark universe.

If you want gank free mining where you can claim some sort of "roid rights" then gtfb2wow.

This miner (yes me) doesn't care for your whiny tones besmerching the name of proper, at the keyboard miners of EvE who are able to avoid/survive ganks and understand that those roids don't belong to them until they are in the ships hold.

As to the insurance, I thought suicide gankers didnt care about that. Thats what I keep reading in the threads about removing insurance payout.

There is no "gank problem", Eve is risk / reward, you are choosing to risk that hulk for a marginally higher profitability. Its easy to avoid getting ganked, its also easy to choose to fly something cheaper instead.

Pollo sees that you are worried. Pollo thinks that you should not worry. If CCP releases winter expansion with the same level of attention to detail as they did with incarna, those BC will only be able to spin in station and do so awkwardly like WiS. In all fairness, they should have buffed that newspaper-thin shield tank on the HULK: for what it costs, it deserves a better tank. Making the new BC's 10x as expensive is not the solution.

While i understand your concerns , from my own experience when a miners get ganked it is usually his own fault

There are numerous ways to avoid getting ganked and i am not going to list them here , but tanking your hulk is only a minor part of the solution

most important is that now when miners see one of them warping into their belt on their overview they know it is probably not ratting but hunting for prey, You using your overview to watch out for potential problems and a scanner to lock your rocks ...right?

Is this per Kill? Do they have to be in a hulk? I have a few days off and alot of time to kill I wouldn't mind ruining someones day multiple times.

If I choose to suicide-gank you with a Paladin, then by using your logic, we should raise the Hulk cost to 800 millions.

The answer to your woes already exist: use a Covetor for your mining. That way, your barge cost less than the "gank-mobile" that will be spent on it.

You don't like that? Too bad, but CCP isn't going to spoil you.

This post doesn't make sense, its not hulks that have to be careful around Tornado's its Orcas and Frieghters.

Why in gods name would you buy a Torndao to gank a Hulk when it appears THRASHERS are getting a 33% Damage output buff from the removal of the ROF pen?

And smart Hulk pilot has Dscan open anyway, even in High sec and watches local. You see 3-20 thrashers on scan warp out. Of course if you're afk mining well, my ore just went up in price I guess.

Don't ask about Italics, just tilt your head.
