So i'm stuck in a decision for how to best afk cloaky camp.

Basically my choice is a bomber, cloaky loki (or other t3 variant), or possibly a recon. Probe launcher is definitely a plus in this situation, but i'm looking at the options I have for pumping out tons of dps then getting out.

All the ships will be weak to EM, so thats why i'm basing this around those certain varieties. My targets will be bc's, bs's, cruisers, etc.

Which EM damaging afk cloakies have you had the most luck with?

Depends what you're trying to accomplish. A t1 frigate (or even a newbie ship) with a prototype cloak is completely sufficient to lock the entire system down and create tear fountains. Any capability beyond this is by definition not AFK camping.

I'm also looking for the opportunity to kill targets, like i said cruisers/bc's/bs's will be my main target points, so i'm looking for something with enough oomph in their weaknesses to punch through.

Also, whats the deal with rats immediately changing targets to a ganker in a site? Is that still a issue to watch out for?

If you're looking to deal tons of a specific damage type to a largish ship just use the corresponding bomber. For EM damage the purifier works best.

Or you can use a cloakyloki, you can switch ammo to match the weakness of your target.

Cloaky/nullifier loki tends to lack a bit of damage potential though...

Bomber. Can fit Covert Cyno for if you need to drop somone, can use torps to shoot through a ratters tank hole, can also use bombs which are hilariously effective against gatecamps (wait unil they catch someone and MWD toward him..launch bomb into gatecamp..hilarity ensues). Can warp cloaked too. Good times can and will be had sologriefing in a bomber.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Go for the bomber, rather cheap to replace and as said before, afk cloaking brings a rather large amount of tears. Better yet stay afk for 23 hours for a couple days and people get used to you after the initial trying to bait you out energy runs thin. As for bombing a successful gate camp, that just sounds wonderful.
