I detect some serious butthurt in this thread. I love how some so-called vets apparently feel insulted by a group of newbs having fun in "their" EVE.

Great job guys, you'll be a big time powerbloc in no time! It's players like you who make the game fun by producing content for everyone.

Great stuff, for number #13 you should put the community spotlight on Aliastra or some other NPC corp.
Oh wait despite being around for 10 years, NPC corps don't result in any interesting or emergent content and instead actively stifle it to put newbies in a riskless, contentless and ultimately unappealing gameplay style that kills user retention.

Ban NPC corps.

You should stop rambling about what you can't do (attack NPC corps etc.) and focus on what you CAN do.

If a guy can create so much content and FUN 6 days into the game and attract hundreds of content makers, then you can do the same without spending your life obsessed with NPCs.

CCP plays their own game so little they're unable to tell the difference between a Rokh and a battlecruiser. Nothing new was learned that day.

What's this about not being able to attack NPC corps? I've arranged gangs to take out people aggressing and can-flipping newbs...in a starter corp. There's no leadership in the NPC corps, so somebody needs to "instigate" action. (Notice how I used a new, fresh CCP buzzword there?)

That being said, I'd definitely suggest that these guys get blue status from CVA (if they're still around) and roam Providence. The place is a game reserve already.

What fascinates someone about EVE Online? Large scale massive battles? Metagaming? Politics involving tens of thousands of people? Or is it the freedom of choice you have in EVE Online and the fact that you can set your own rules in this game world? Whatever it is, there are many different ways to have fun in EVE Online!

Fun ... that is what many new and veteran players experience in EVE Online, but only few have such an incredible amount of fun as the following new group of people. It is inspiring to see how this brand new people take EVE Online as it is and thus create an universe of fun and excitement.

I would like to mention that My Alliance Corps are the first to wardec this Corp

The Corps:

Righteous Immortal Pew
KOS Villains
THE AESIR.

These Corps all decided to wardec the Brave Newbie Corporation. We all hang around the same area, use the same ts, and generally all do the same things together in a group. We just recently made the Alliance to officially be together under one banner. We had to drop the war and all join the Alliance, Then re-wardec the Brave Newbie Corp.

Honestly the war was started because one of our Battleships was suspect on station and got blobbed randomly by about 60-70 of the Brave Newbie members. We decided it was all fun and w enjoyed seeing the massive blob on station. We figured we would get a good fight out of them so we talked to our tight nit group and decided to all put a wardec in.

Shortly after we had a good thing going for this war. Another Group decided to join the mix. Sadly they joined on the side of the Newbie corporation. A few of our members set up new freshly made alts inside the Brave Newbie Corp. Got Intel on locations, channels they talked in, Fits they used, Etc Etc.

As it stands. Our now formed alliance

The Ghost Army
&
Unicorn **** Train
VS
Panda Cave
&
Brave Newbies

The war still seemed to be in favor of the newly formed alliance. The newbs would blob in arty thrashers. While the Pandas would sit comfortably in the Battleships they had prepared the day before.

Our corporations have been living in this system for a crazy amount of time that its actually pathetic. We have more safe spots in system then I can count, On each of the stations. We also have ships set up ready to go in all the stations in system.

Our tactics were simple. For the noobs we did the all to simple Smart Bomb Battleship. Warp to a 300 undock and the noobs would follow. Bomb them and hope no random neut would warp out, This worked to a good extent. Killed about 15-20 of them before the Pandas had time to warp out and kill the Battleship. Our tactics for the Pandas worked really effectively. We got in T3 Battlecruisers sniper fit. We would warp to one of our many points on station blast a ship all at the same time and warp out. Last information received from Panda Cave basically is this. We are pulling out, we have lost to many battleships.

We have given the Newbie Corp isk, ships, fits, and helpful advice on several occasions. We are impressed to say the least at the amount of people that have recruited in the last few days. We started the war with them being around 300-350 members. They have sky rocketed to about 700+ members. Basically its us 40ish members on a average day against the 700 of them not including any allies they may have.We would also like to applaud the Newbie Corp in a recent kill they got. A 4 bil Vindi and the same persons pod twice. Its safe to say that the person Rage Quit immediately after the loss. It is unclear right now what will be done to the person who lost this. Personally I am glad to say it wasn't my corp that lost the ship so at least my corp doesn't look bad.

We are Facing around 600-700 people alone with about 40 of us

Around half of them aren't even Noob's. They have members From 2006. I am sure I have even seen a character as far back as 2004. They are a starter group for a Major Alliance. We figured this out on our own with our spies. They use the TEST Alliance Mumble, and several Test members are in the channels they frequent.

I would like to mention that braggin about being the first to engage brave newbies, and then having a war record of 1.8 billion in kills vs 8.8 Billion in losses does not impress most of new Eden.

If you take a look at Brave Newbies war report in game ...

It states currently that Unicorn **** has 1.8 Billion in kills, but 8.8 Billion in losses to brave newbies. It is only 4 Billion in Pod losses though. I love how people underestimate them. 100 thrashers might die by your hand, but if they kill one tengu or pop one slave set pod, it's totally worth it.

The new goon swarm, only an actual swarm. I will still kill brave until it is no longer amusing for me, but I wish them well in their quest to kick braggarts in the balls.

I am part of the Ghost Army that was the first to dec Brave Newbs. hi o/

Since beginning of the war dec I have donated over 250 mil worth ships to brave newbs in the brave newbs public channel. I have also given them advice to avoid unnecessary losses, still same time I managed to kill over 20 of them in one night. I feel dirty.

The loss just happened around 5 min ago and We are talking about what we want to do with the person who lost the vindi and his pod twice. He actually rage quit immediately, Its simple to say we are displeased with this alliance member. Lucky for us he was not in our corporation. If you look at the Corporation war report we did amazingly well against them.
