"Keep at range" and drones - something strange is happening

I use 2x Hulks and an Orca to mine.

Whenever I get to belt I move up the hulks to the Orca with the command "Keep at range" so whenever I move the Orca the Hulks follow automatically and also keeps the distance to be able to use the Hangar array onboard the Orca.

I dont know if it s the drones or not but it _seem_ to happen more often when drones are out. What happens is all of a sudden either the Orca or any of the 2 Hulks start moving away from the rest of the group without me having given any commands to that effect whatsoever.

Extremely annoying if you havent been watching the screen for a minute or two as the hangar array now is out of range. Extremely annoying even if you re watching the screen and suddenly spot one of your ships wandering off like a little disobedient sheep.

Whats going on.
