improved access to Null Sec for part time pilots.

Want more pilots in null sec ? Then try increasing the number of WHs connected to 0.0

For many RL TIME POOR pilots ( me) a 0.0 WH connection means valuable time in null without the daunting travel and logistics.

i had a great couple of hours in null recently, but the best bit was knowing I could be back to my lo-sec home with loot and a kill within minutes - not RL hours. (Arriving in a smoking Pod was also a possibility)

Stats seem to suggest that x% of WH's lead to 0.0, but after a LOT of probing it feels more like 1:50 link to null.

More connections = more pilots 'having a go' - many may eventually convert from NInja to resident.

At the very least they would have fun becoming an unexpected bloody nuisance, and provide nice fresh targets for jaded nullsec dwellers.

So, give me a RL TIME efficient way such as this to get into 0.0 Mr.CCP and I will go for it - promise.

I don't think there is a large investment right now, if you are in Null you are going to want a corp down there anyway. Any corp down there is going to have Logistics (or you hire Red Frog), and a Jump Clone makes it an easy thing, as you only have to get down there once.

This is because gates are hard to jump, isnt it.

Also, Null isnt far away unless your a pilot who clings to 1.0 - .9 systems. Youre a LowSec dweller, which means null is usually VERY close within 5 jumps. But I guess that depends on how many jumps lazy players count as convienient and/or too far. Most lazy players say that 5 jumps is too far, while most bittervets tell tales of making 300 jumps through hostile territory barefoot uphill both ways in a snowstorm without warp to 0 and thats the way it was and we liked it.

On the other hand, the vast majority of empire based wormhole explorers see a wormhole that leads to null, and dont jump in for fear of finding themselves deep in dreaded goonspace or testspace...or (insert random excuse here)space, so Im sure there are plenty out there, just no holes that appear in your small patch of lowsec heaven.

But this is Eve, obviously your little patch of lowsec isnt adjacent to any nullspace thats worthwhile and you dont want to leave your home out of laziness, and you are demanding an easy button for your personal travel, and because of this there will be 10 copycat threads about it that may or may not be posted by you, that spring up for the next 2 weeks and I, who doesnt have the most time on my hands myself, will be forced to troll every single one.

What are you banging on about ? They say Eve is a community but it seems to contain more nutters per square inch than most communities I know. Get back under your bridge....

But null is generally easy to access. From any low sec I think is is often 8-10 jumps. Some deep 0.0 is less easy, but is fine so, not all the regions have to be the same and not everything have to be "easy".

I'm casual player too, in the past when I was more into explorations I was used to arrange expedtions in solo for several days. I had some region al mapped with BM and safe spots with anchored containers to store loot and ammo. Then I went in a cloacky transport to recover the loot or to resupply ammo. I just logged in safe and relogged according to my avaiable time.

And all this with no cyno and T3 cruiser, was just in hurricane.

One can do everything if wants, only need to plan some.

There's already WHs in about 1 in 4 null-sec systems at any given moment.

And there's also a mechanism to access the areas where one wants to go - you can just chain-collapse the statics in w-space systems with a few MWD battleships until you get an exit to somewhere you'd like to go.

Nullsec is full of casual players with limited playtime. The two dominant coalitions, you know those ones that are "killing nullsec", are so successful because they leverage enormous numbers of casual players.

I've shot, or been shot at in every zone but w-space (but I'm working on that), and I don't see the difference. It doesn't matter where you shoot dudes, so just shoot dudes.

NPC null, jump clones, Black Frog to ship a bunch of stuff out there. Problem solved. You fly in once, jump out, and you're set.

Join a 0.0 alliance, they're very casual friendly. Just log in once a week for ops and you're golden.

Any other times you can get on, do whatever you like. Fill one of those empty systems.

As someone who scans a lot, and lives in lowsec I'm seeing the exact same thing. Maybe 1 in 50 leads to a nice backwater null system. They are always a great time, just something different to do. And having 1 in 10 WH's go out there would be a great way to connect different parts of space and different players.
Running into null from low is just stupid without a scout or a cheap ship. And certainly not worth it to rat for an hour or two. Nothing to do with lazy, it just isnt worth it.
As for moving to null, I don't mind visiting sometimes but I prefer lowsec.

Can anyone explain why more 'unexpected' 0.0 access would be a bad thing - excepting for the fact that it wasn't available to you in the past?

I don't think anyone is arguing it would be a bad thing, just that there's really no point in doing so.

Thanks for this tip, I am going there immediately with all my possessions and will give you a 5 minute warning when about to enter.

Taisy - is that the name of the flower on your corpse in that system. Some pilots dont want to be a 10 way shared kill stat on some lazy gate campers lazy kill-board.

" Smug Dude" gets 0.00001 points for pod kill in M-OEEB ... No Sir!!
