Kraftwerk - the Robots.
Old-school electronica at its finest.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Surf music meets rockabilly. Works better than I wouldn've thought.
Nice.

this guy sits behind me in one of my math classes[taking two this semester]. I found out he was a local house DJ when I shared a link I found to a free ebook of our math text ($189 retail) ... [the prof doesn't care where we get our texts from, why should you!]

he had me listen to this mix and I was like, "epic? dude, lemme show you what's on my phone." same stuff, but his tracks are mixed... ahmigad

we started talking impedence and mixing equipment and computers, and a friendship was born

anyway, he's playing this Saturday at a local lounge, and I'm going.

good stuff skip to 1min

ohGr - Cracker

A not-so-subtle diss of pop industrial.

Rocket from the Crypt - You and I

See what I did there?

Now someone needs to post a band with "projectile" or something like this and we are all set.

edit: yeah, there is one:

Bullet for my Valentine

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

A music library is a wonderful thing. Digging through a bunch of recordings that have lain dormant for 5 or 10 years provides an opportunity to rediscover them as if they were new.

Bassnectar - Butterfly (ft.Mimi Page)

Some might say that it is bordering techno, and I normally dont like techno. However I must say that I was blown away by this one. Mimi Page got such a beautiful voice and it makes it a very beautiful song, despite the techno traits.

Thank you for sharing this little amazing interesting piece of work. I really love it, despite sharing your opinion about electronics and smartassbuttonlolmusic5yearoldkidcando.
I like real instruments and guys/girls passion for doing amazing stuff but I admit this little piece is very interesting.

it's 1998 and everyone knew about The Prodigy--they were popular--but I still had to defend these mp3's that I downloaded from mIRC with a 56k modem (mental AOL Dialup song activate! deeee deee deee doooooo....)

songs like
Wildchild - Renegade Master '98
Fatboy Slim - Gangster Trippin
Moby - James Bond Theme
Propellerheads - Spybreak! famous for you-know-what-movie

and two years later in 2000, songs like Rockafeller Skank became popular and I was like.. I've been TELLING you guys...! and omg, don't play Sandstorm, please. and Alice Deejay...... i mean, i liked Better Off Alone for a week until this girl screamed "OMG THAT'S MY SONG!!" and I retreated to Fragma - Toca's Miracle and Ian Van Dahl - Castles in the Sky ...Darude - Feel the Beat

after a while, I couldn't tell if people were asking about Sandstorm or Feel the Beat, but then they get to listen to both. I kinda felt bad for them. These were the people who sensed something was afoot in '94-'95 with Mortal Kombat, but couldn't place it...

ooooh hey it's 2001 and you discovered Zombie Nation - Kernkraft.. that's cute.

fast forward to 2002 and Eminem claims in Without Me: "nobody listens to techno!" ok he's a troll and secondly, Moby is NOT our leader

fast forward again to 2005, I'm repairing a John Deere loader in Afghanistan and over the military radio music station I hear Busta Rhymes - Touch It sampling Daft Punk - Technologic oh HELL no

there was one patrol I will never forget, in Iraq '11... I fell out of my sleep cycle and hadn't slept in a couple days and it was our third mission without sleep for me... it was hours of walking through tall grass, taller than us, and the whole time I heard Skrillex - Reptile "jump jump jump jump jump" on repeat in my brain......

and these days, Tiesto and Steve Aoki are pumping out anthems every other week... harder than 99% of those by swizz beats, timbaland, and will.i.am... (who is playing EDM massives now, and opened his EDC Vegas 2012 set with Nari & Milani - Atom ... BITER!)

that being said... Tiesto & Steve Aoki featuring Polina - Tornado (Kill the Noise Remix) I love her soft P's and the accent... so... posh
