BUG in item redeeming system

I forgot to switch my characters on the selection screen before I redeemed an item. I got on that character and put it back in the redeem list. I then switched to the other character and attempted to redeem the item but it stayed in the same location where I redeemed it the first time. I need to redeem the item in the new location. Please assist.

If it were the same character then I would say that it's working properly as CCP doesn't want you "transporting" shiny things through the redeem system. Either redeem it where you want it or risk using your cargo hold to move it.

But since you chose a different character I'm not sure of the rules there. Like Kaar said, petition it

As Xercodo already mentioned, it is an intended mechanic in place, to prevent players from abusing the redeem system for transporting goods instantly around the universe.

Once a PLEX has been reverse-redeemed, it will be locked to its current station.

Check out CCP Zulu's dev blog for more information: PLEX? in my space? it's more likely than you think.

If you are trying to activate a PLEX on your account, you are not required to be at the same location. Simply browse for the PLEX ingame through the assets window. When rightclicking it, you will be able to apply the game time.
