Do you think that CCP will eventually bring all Minmatar ships' appearance in line?

Breacher is bloody awful!

Looks like some got a section of scaffold and strapped a motor to it!

The new stabber design is the way minnies should be. However i also quite like the Ruppie and cane models.
So somewhere between them is good.

Minnies are generally accepted as being the hit and run types so sleek sexiness (stabber) should the design norm. They however also have ships that are claimed to be heavier and tougher (Ruppie, cane) these match the blocky angular design philosophy very well.

All the scaffoldy hulls really need to be scrapped!!!!!

That is the Way, the Tao.

Balance is everything.

Agreed. As someone pointed out earlier, it's been long enough that Minmatar ships should be the technological equals of their foes. That means that, while they can maintain the preference of their race towards oddball designs, the materials and technology that goes into that design should be just about on-par with the other powers.

I keep looking at real-world Japan as the perfect example. Between the 1860s and 1905, Japan modernized from a third-world nation practically stuck in the feudal era to a first rate power able to handily defeat Russia. The point is, once the will and sovereignty are in place to modernize, modernization (at least for a dynamic, determined people) just doesn't take that long.

The Stabber looks great. It retains most of its classic lines and individuality, but has joined the other races' ships in technological equality. Others should follow suit.

Personally, my vote for most desperate for a refit is the Typhoon and the Rupture. Like the Stabber, neither should be stripped of their characteristic shape and layout. However, much can be done to enhance their tired frames (and the typhoon, in particular, could just use more lights/windows in general. It doesn't even look occupied).

Top down it looks like this, it's just weighted wrong and has the same basic design as the Coercer, the fact that it's missing some stuff or added some other doesn't change that.

I disagree - Tengu in usual pve configuration and Drake also have a similar top down shape, yet they're drastically different ships, because top-down isn't all that matters. In our case (Coercer vs. Dragoon), we're basically comparing a multihull boat with a single hull one and with drastically different configurations at that. That's why I'm saying I just don't see the comparisson.

Needs more duct tape to cover the holes. And stop bumping miners with minnie ships, its removing all that rust off.
