My absence and public confession.

Approximately one month ago I disappeared from the capsuleer community and cut off communication with my corporation.
My absence was due to my standing trial before my clan elders for criminality.

My charges were; Murder, Fraternizing with a terrorist group and theft. I was charged with all three

The Shǎndiàn lù clan are one of many with the permission from the Republic Justice Department to choose to use traditional punishments from pre-Amarr times on criminals that seem genuinely repentant after being put through rigorous questioning by both RJD authorities and clan Elders. I have given all information on my crimes and connections to the RJD authorities that questioned me and my clan elders.

Due to my previous work for the Minmatar Republic, Tribal Liberation Force, Native Fresh food and Vherokior tribe, my Elders showed me some leniency in that I was only punished for the murder charge out of the three charges. I should note these punishments are particular to my clan, and due to my immortality were toned up.

For the destruction of two non aggressor ships, I was speared once in each thigh by a serrated weapon known as a 'Xiělínlín de yáchǐ', these punishments were separated by three weeks. A chemical stimulant was administered to intensify the pain each time. I was then given a leather band and left in a ritual standing place to live or die of my injury, my ancestors judging whether or not I was deserving of continuing my path on this world.

As I'm alive, the outcome should be apparent. I survived permanently scared (in this clone.) As a permanent reminder I am retaining the scars and in my left leg, a limp; in the hopes they will continue to ensure I make good judgments.

I was allowed to keep my stance as a Mystic due to my past of good works and the TLF have decided me worthy to retain my rank as I did not at any point work against the Minmatar Republic and during my crimes destroyed an EOM Thanatos class carrier piloted by a religious terrorist, and later permanently executed said terrorist.

I deeply regret my foolish and immoral decisions and have returned to the Republic, presently I am repairing my CONCORD security status so that I can continue to operate in Minmatar high security space.

I hope that soon the spirits will see me worthy of life.

Salena Ashera; Shandian Lu clan Mystic.

Sounds very painful, but I'm glad you were allowed to atone for your crimes. Hope to see you around again.

You have a very serious problem. It's called giving too much of a damn. If you want to go back to the Republic, fine. You don'd have to go spilling all the details of your life all over the IGS.

As a mystic, you should have no regrets

But I comend you on you decision to suffer for what you believe in

I understand your meaning, but how can I be a mystic and not rue that I have injured people unjustly?

I fully intend to do nothing but learn from this experience and use it to propel myself on the path.

I wish you luck on your choosen path and will give you a bit of info that I had learnt on mine...

Ouch.

I suppose that's one way to be taught a lesson.

And yet, they somehow managed to miss the piracy, slavery, and material aid for hostile entities.

How convenient.

I do not and have never owned a slave, nor have I raided for any. Leopold Caine is the only person I've ever known in person to hold slaves and he is for some reason a legal holder in the Empire.

I was charged with murder in place of piracy as punishment of death is quite redundant to a capsuleer. Both non combatant ships that I destroyed were also Imparors. So carried approximately a single crew member as you cannot murder the same capsuleer twice, I was charged with the crew members murder. All other ships engaged with were criminals, the destruction of them no longer counting as a crime as the fiscal damage to the pilots is considered positive.

Fraternizing with a terrorist group was the closest I could figure 'material aid for hostile entities' in my language, the translator must not have translated it properly. I'll fix it in my original post.

There will always be those to judge, but I've always found you win more flies with honey than vinegar.

As far as I see, you are a lovely person. I had a great time speaking to you today and you were very sweet to Madeleine and Ava's son.

I find it odd that your clan cares about your aggressions against other capsuleers. But you have learned, and that is all that matters.

They don't care about my actions against capsuleers, crews are a different story. Thank you for the compliment Lasa, it means allot.
