So its been 52 hours and still nothing. Either charge us with something realistic or drop the charges all together. I'm seriously considering filling a harassment lawsuit against the Intara family, or better yet charge them with treason.

Well, CBT says that the case is dismissed

You're kidding me. The CPD just marched in there and told the CBT to dismiss the case, just like that? If that doesn't cause uproar, I don't know what will.

Why would anyone with two braincells to rub together... make an uproar? That just puts them on Heth's list of targets.

The smart money has already fled the State for safer pastures.

The Caldari, for better or worse, aren't ones to shy away from confrontation. The smart money isn't fleeing the State, the smart money is infiltrating the Provist establishment and waiting for their time to strike and set the Caldari State back on track. Heth's support rests on the will of the people. The Provist are a single group, and like any rock that stands against the waves of an ocean will erode once punished by the change of the current.

As little as I welcomed the initial lawsuit I was hoping that I would be exonerated in the usual fashion or else compelled to bear the consequences of my actions. This outcome is wholly unsatisfying, not to mention the contraventions of established tradition involved in simply dismissing the case all but unheard.

Nonetheless the verdict is both legal and official and we are bound to abide by the decision.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.
