Debries surrounding the stargate. Frozen corpses floating through space. A bunch of Rifters and Thoraxes dashing through the field of destruction, buring their propulsion modules to get their hands on their next target...

A typical morning in Madirmilire.

The malfactor desperatly trying to escape his certain death, realizing that there is no way out of Black Dawn Rising's grasp. The alerts sounding through the entire ship as the gang manages to get Warp disrupotors on the target. Even more alerts start to mix into this sonata of someones life ending.
While the pilot still tries to make a decision whether to attack, and therefore seal his certain demise the lasers start hitting his ships armor... and that is the last thing he remembers, before he wakes up in his home station.

What has happend? Did I miraculously get out?

No Sir. You have been caught by Black Dawn Rising and shown what "Retribution" means.
Even though this should serve as a lesson, we really hope you don't repent and continue to commit your crimes. Please forget about the incident and get on with what you do, so we may as well go on and visit you every once in a while.

The sound of the projectiles hitting his armor suddenly made him think of a rainy day, on his home planed a decade ago.
It seems like ages he has not had solid ground under his boots... the comms in his ears pull him back to the present.

"Keep your eyes on the target and don't forget your transversal! We depend on you to keep him into place." The voice of his
commanding officer seems to have more tension then usual. After all the squad just lost two tacklers in the last gate camp.
Only one being left makes the whole endevour a bit more risky as usual.

"10-4"
He focuses all his senses on the strategic ruiser in front of him, sets his microwarpdrive to overheat in order to avoid being hit another time. An impressive ship this is. Having a lot of firepower, tank and a scary number of med modules it is an enemy to be taken serious. Having it webbed and scrammed makes it easier to kill, but nobody likes to go down without a fight. And this one is putting one up...
Just as they start to put it into hull, another call from the his XO comes in: "Guys, overheat your guns. We have an incoming fleet. Lets fininsh up here and call it a day." So be it. The damage being applied suddenly spikes. The Loki pilot in 10km away has no time left to call for help. Flames spiking out of his ship as it loses pressure.
An explosion.

"Loot that wreck and allign to the gate. Lets get out of here".
