you mean five

CCP, I just ordered a Oculus Rift developer kit, I want to see how compatible EVE is, out of the box.

If I can get free-look bound to the visor, I think it will be pretty awesome with the UI on screen.

I also want to know if WIS is awesome, might be better if I could be first-person................

I will let you know :-)

Expected Ship Date: April 2013

good thing I still have a monitor port open

I have a great feeling about it, because the UI is a pilot's HUD at heart. especially with the way offscreen targets remain on the edge of the screen. I think EVE is better suited for a visor than a FPS/center-screen aiming game, and it's a better candidate for development than Doom

I'LL BE BACK WITH A FRAPS OR TWO when the time comes.

I can't wait to view this scene in a visorrrr http://www.mediafire.com/?82iys2is7cpooxv

I'm a mechanical engineering major. if you give us joystick flight controls, I am the person who would make this for EVE.

You do realise that sitting in a static chair with no motion in it whatsoever is more of a realistic experience of flying in space than what you just linked right?

Actually not, if you change direction in space you will still feel the acceleration into a different direction even if there is no gravity / atmosphere. As long as you dont have any sort of dampeners.

i must say, rain, your level of commitment far exceeds my own. i have one monitor, one toon, one account, no ps3 (i do, however, have a couple bean bag chairs, college relics that they are, around)

i'm not sure if i should congratulate or feel bad for you. Blink

it keeps me out of trouble.

despite myself.

I need someone to keep me in check, though. I told myself I wasn't going to worry about it, but just an hour ago on the way out of my geometry class, I might've arranged a valentine for myself... 20. blue eyed. sandy blonde. I'm screwed

I NEED MORE VIDEO GAMES!

it's not a bad thing. losing touch with your inner toys r us kid will make Eurydia Vespasian a sad capsuleer

I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY EVE WITH A VISOR! gah

in the last couple days I think I've managed to kick benadryl. i was taking between 100 and 150 mg of it nightly to put myself to bed. I found that while playing mass effect on ps3, sleep comes naturally...

this is huge for me. sleep rhythm disturbances are a big issue for servicemembers, and after returning from Iraq in Nov of '11 it was -really- bad.. I was on a prescription for ambien and I would lay awake through it.

returning to a normal sleep pattern is a gradual process, and only now that I've separated from the military have I been able to gradually return to normalcy...

and video games got me through the last leg. now, I just play video games sitting against my bean bag until it's time to roll over and pass out.

EV, you understand what this means: while I was deployed, between missions... the hours were irregular to avoid setting any predictable pattern for ourselves, so when I had to sleep, I took a cocktail of ambien, melatonin, benadryl, and lunesta. every night. Shocked because one mission might be from noon to five, and the next one is 3 am to 10 am. it was brutal

Not to turn your thread into the Rate the avatar above you one but I must say that I really like the new look you gave 6637. She looks like an evil icecold lady Twisted

However I prefer 6639 as a brunette.

she's always had these eyes~ all i did was take the shades off and change the hair

i was amused for quite a while, knowing people had no idea her eyes were so scary

What's the outcome of the visor. I'd be very interested in that.

Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.  Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!!

Multiple monitors is overratted. I run 8 clients on one screen, res of 1280x1024 for each client. All settings low baby, gotta milk my 512mb VRAM HD4870 for all its worth.
