In the summit today, Cynthia Gallente made a disturbing revelation. While her initial hint to it;

[ 2013.02.06 06:30:48 ] Cynthia Gallente > I need to find some food.
[ 2013.02.06 06:30:58 ] Cynthia Gallente > ..speaking of violence
[ 2013.02.06 06:43:12 ] Cynthia Gallente > I'm getting really itchy here.... wanna burn something
[ 2013.02.06 06:44:02 ] Kaughst > Does your crew object to lighting bon fires in the crew cabin?
[ 2013.02.06 06:44:20 ] Cynthia Gallente > My crew?
[ 2013.02.06 06:44:25 ] Cynthia Gallente > They don't object to much.
[ 2013.02.06 06:44:44 ] Salena Ashera > She'll flush them if they do.

Was rather un colourful, she later made it clear what she was implying.

[ 2013.02.06 06:44:55 ] Cynthia Gallente > Or just eat them.
[ 2013.02.06 06:45:04 ] Salena Ashera > You eat your crew?
[ 2013.02.06 06:45:59 ] Cynthia Gallente > Only if i'm really hungry

This, coupled with the fact that she flushed her crew from the airlock, a feat not easily accomplished should make any capsuleer, merc or counting on a deal with her, in the least pack a small arm. Or bring body guards, with larger weapons. Shes obviously as stable as nitroglycerin

I'm incredulous. Such an off-handed remark seems to me as the words of a sarcaster or, at worst, a fantasist. How mordant, your thread is a waste of my eye-space and my time - must we really now start a thread speculating every single nuance of capsuleer communique?

Come back with something more tangible.

How about her admission to mass murder?

I don't support such treatment of one's crew but we're capsuleers, we're all mass murderers in a way.

We mass murder in the blink of an eye.

Which makes her all the more interesting to have a conversation or dealing with.

Oh Spirits, surely serious, you're not? A being who willingly transformed their body into a machine of war, a mass-murderer?

Don't be so daft. We're all killers, arms-dealers and murder enablers.

I find you increasingly silly. What are you trying to achieve? We'd be inundated if we started one of these for any remotely quirky or eccentric capsuleers.

To note, the proper way to handle capsuleers breaking the rule against psychotic behavior in the Summit is to send a report to the moderators rather than by making a public post on the IGS. I will see if I can get time stamped logs.

Cripes, you're worse than a Provost. Did Nation take away your sense of humor? Clearly a joke.
1: Fire on a starship. No sane person does this. O2. It's important and fire uses too much of it.
2: Eating crew. Considering how much food 1 ISK gets . . . no capsuleer should ever go hungry.
3: You're in fracking Nation. Everything you say is psychotic.

Afterthought: To the OP. This is New Eden. It's not nice. It's not kind. It's not gentle. The cluster is harsh. Deal with it. Cripes.

Watch out, Tiberious. Vea is calling you psychotic.

More pertinently, good job, darling. Your points (1) and (2) listed two examples of insane behavior in a thread intending to highlight a capsuleer's apparent lack of faculties. How is this in anyway a strong argument for Cynthia's comments being a joke?

Spirits, it's like a cesspit.

There's a huge difference between suicidal behavior and psychotic behavior. Ugg, fracking pubbies. I hate you all.

Seems like our dear friend Cynthia is going down the path of insanity. All it takes is a little push and she will provide some amusing 'entertainment' for us.

And when have capsuleers cared about their crew? I have vented crew members into space several times before. I would rather have them floating in space than having the entire ship burning up from the inside, just because they fails to control the onboard fire.

I'm reminded of last night... or was it the night before? Time feels so vague recently - or have I felt like this for a while? ... I digress.

I silently observed as Ahvar introduced a group of capsuleers to some experiments. Human, disembodied heads in jars - many of you will be familiar with what I'm talking about. To many, this was received as hideous, or disturbing. Yet, these people were happy. Happy.

Here, we have an individual who would see a woman pushed to insanity for her own amusement. So I wonder, it seems strange to me that this notion somehow seems to be less revolting among our ranks.

If, and that's a big "if" someone is violating Summit channel rules take it to a moderator privately.

Whining in public makes you look petulant and weak, regardless of circumstances.

Consider that.

Besides, open burning on a ship is a major issue for the fire detection and suppression systems onboard. I've never been on a ship where its allowed, and that includes my own.

What, she's just a cannibal? You made a thread just because someone's a cannibal?

Even if I had a conversation with her about eating human beings right now she wouldn't be the craziest human being I've talked to in the last six hours.
