Hi!

We will be holding a mass test on Singularity on Wednesday, February 6th, at 18:00 UTC (= EVE time).

What exactly is being tested?
  • A fix for the issue, where the screen turns grey

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  • Meet in FD-MLJ at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Warp to a starbase
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Fleet W: Jump to Poitot and prepare gate-camp
  • Fleet X: Warp to Poitot stargate
  • Fleet X: Jump to Poitot, FIGHT
  • Optional: Warp to planet 1
  • Optional: Kill NPCs


What else should I know?
  • We will be moving players to the test system - join the channel massmoveme for this
  • Please bring a good mix of ships! Cynos will be provided.
  • Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
  • Please run logserver during the mass test, if possible.

Does the logserver also show problems with EvE voice?

In some cases, yes. It depends on what problems you have with EVE voice. There will be nothing about bad voice quality, but we can normally see, if it fails to connect to the voice server or similar.

Did you guys notice any similarities between users who experienced the grey screen? Was it GPU related, due to older drivers/cards? I was running my 670 FTW with no issues other than dismal FPS.

On another note, I'll make it if I can but have never experienced the grey screen issue with the Intel HD 3000 GPU in my macbook pro.

No, as far as I know these are for Singularity only.
If they were for tranquility, there'd be thousands of players in fleets like these.

From the Wiki on mass testing:

"As small incentive and reward for participating in mass test events CCP QA adds two million free skill points on our standard test server Singularity to the characters which were present in the mass test. These skill points are given through the skill reimbursement tool."
