Wormhole POS's

Okay so I have heard through several people about POS's in WH space. Does the number of POS's in your wormhole affect the respawn rate of it? For instance If I have a smaller footprint in it, will it spawn more sites faster, or will I get just as many sites if I have 3 pos's up versus 1. Thanks in advance!

POSes are not linked to respawn rate.

What actually happens is that running sites causes them to respawn somewhere else in the constellation, so in a relatively quiet constellation, they'll pile up somewhere else, yielding "space tumbleweeds" where you have dozens of sigs and anoms to sort through.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

To the OP. Your being in a WH has nothing to do with the spawn rate. Here is a fun experiment to point out the fact.

Go do some High sec exploration, BUT limit yourself to one solar system. What you will find is that even with the high site turnover rate in high sec (lots of explorers) it will feel like your one system doesn't really get that many sigs per day.

Yeah, we like to keep a clean home system as well. I don't get those folks who let sigs pile up in their home...doesn't that make scanning, uh, way more painful than necessary?

Thanks for the info fellas. I just wanted to make sure because we had some other people telling us that The smaller our pos footprint is the faster, or more sites will spawn. So based on what you are telling me, whether or not I have 3 pos's or 1 pos in the wormhole, ( a C5 wormhole) that the spawn rate and number of spawns will be the same regardless. Thanks again in advance!

Home sites are there to attract victims I mean visitors.

Will iniating but then cancelling warp work for starting the countdown to respawn clock, or do you actually have to warp onto grid for it to work?

From my experience just initiating warp.

It doesn't take 20 sigs and 20 anoms to entice someone who doesn't check for occupancy anyway.
