As volume says, somebody bought a massive amount (2012 to today year highest amount). The commodity itself usually hovers between 16k and 30k pu.

Let me spell it simpler for you: context.
You see everything with the point of view of somebody with so much cash that even a modest markup becomes massive ISK and just can't see how scale matters.

If he bought the item at NPC value, the OP invested less than 10M and made about 130 times the investment in 3 years. For your scale is awesome but for his it's not (guess what, HE and not you created the thread and I replied to him). Because the same 10M could have earned more than that in 3 years.

Without being a genius I went from 50M (made from newbie mining Cry) to 1.2B in May 2009 and others did well better than me. That's 24 times in 1 month. Now project that on a 3 years time frame and your 500% suddenly don't look so much massive any more.

Small capitals are phenomenally easy to make substantial % increases out of them, so no, don't color me impressed.

i admire the effort you put into trying to spin this but it doesn't work soz: you specifically referenced me and suggested my specific returns were bad given the timeline

Did the entrail-reading genius VV just compare earning 1 billion by putting 10M into something and not touching it for 3 years, with actively managing 50M for a month?

Hey, how about I just put 10M into passive investments with NPC-PI level returns every month for 3 years? Cause they're obviously equally good investments...
