Please be aware this is not a recruitment post. I dont want anyone to join an alliance or corp.

I have however had an idea recently and since its tied to mission running this seemed like the place to post.

this is the concept


what do you think?

can anyone see any major issues or opportunities here?

does this sound like something you would be interested in as a mission runner?

please let me know :)

edit: ive amended this post. Im trying to get together a list of known mission hubs - any corp, and level. I know quite a few but anyone that can post any ive missed and I can get a better list together:

if i still ran missions I could see this being beneficial, not a lot different than the incursion communities (well the premise of a channel to get together and run content is similar, the content itself is a bit different)

Sounds like a good idea, especially for the higher level missions that take a long time to complete solo. Can see it benefit new players as well.

I still have like 30-40 days of skilling until L4 missions but I will join Runners Alliance channel then and i hope it will work fineBlink

But I have one question tho ( being a noob and such Smile ) : how can you be safe for AWOX even then becouse if we will be in fleet they can still attack you if they grab oportunity and without CONCORD react?

hi, thanks for great replies.

Psajho dont wait for 30 or 40 days - the intention of the channel is to cater for everyone - new players running level 1s, players running epic arcs and etc. If you join the channel but there is no one running missions in your area you have lost nothing!


about the AWOX thing:

AWOXing comes from a player named Awox. Awox liked to join corps then kill as many pilots as possible before being kicked. If you are in the same corp as a player you can be awoxed because you can friendly fire on corpmates without concord.

so just by being in fleet with someone you could not be awoxed, you would have to be in corp.


Suicide ganked is another matter. You could be suicide ganked in a random fleet running a mission.

Over time we will look to ban gankers from the channel - if they arent in the channel dont let them in your fleet. If we suspect players of recycling alts we will petition it.


finally your 30bn ISK mach is no safer if you mission alone - things like that just have a massive target painted on them tbh.
