Just as a random word of thanks to the Devs, thank you for these features which I have made extensive use of over the last two days:

  • Skill queue
  • Fleet adverts
  • Right-clickable watchlist notification (i.e.: the character picture that pops up in the bottom right of screen)
  • Right-clickable "next system in route"
  • The active route UI in general
  • New skyboxes/nebulas
  • Gates aligned to target stars
  • Drones that return to drone bay automatically if you disconnect or crash to desktop

Things that I miss from EVE versions of history:

  • Ice harvesting lasers that are blue vapours and make "whooooosh" noises instead of "zzzaaark" noises =(
  • Star gate noises
  • WARP TUNNEL NOISE THAT MADE YOUR EARS BLEED
  • Cylindrical Minmatar star gates

And I'm very much looking forward to drag & drop fleet hierarchy in the/an upcoming patch!

If you say this before you go to bed then you can use it as a prayer.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray thank you to CCP.
If I should die before I wake,
to you, GF, and my corpse to take.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

In the name of super capitals, mighty active tanking Megathrons, ASB's and Sleipnirs,

Amen.

It's disturbing when all you have to thank CCP for is many years old. Aside from tracking camera.

Some of the best updates are just so good they fade right into the background and are easily overlooked. I love the faint lines that go to module and the targets bracket when you hover over a target. Its so cool though its hard to remember it being any other way.

Oh and the option to clear all text in a chat window! love that.

Can you think of any other feature in EVE that was so life changing as the introduction of the skill queue? The hours of sleep no longer lost, the relationships saved, the alarm clocks left lying idle: literally life changing,

Srsly.

Took a lengthy hiatus due to burnout, skillqueue was just starting back then - didn't realize what a stress-saver it would be.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.
