I can understand that players here that aren't intersted in CQ or the Incarna expansion in general and that's fair. This game has something for everyone and I can understand that some groups feel neglected.
But you have to understand that Incarna isn't going away, they won't cancel it or remove it. Only way is forward with completing it. Once the package is in place, they can do a expansion pack that focus entirely on the space part.

Although I'm a "default CQ" and "no Hangar" hater, I am also a WiS enthusiast, so I agree. While I agree they do need to re-concentrate on FiS as soon as possible, they also need to finish what they started with Incarna before they do that.

It needs to go multiplayer, even if it's just rudimentary for the moment, like CQ.

This has been unusual. I posted my comments on goonfleet.com and reposted them on Kugu because anything I write is automatically reposted on the GSF-specific Kugu thread within minutes. I had expected to have the CSM spotlight FiS Neglect in about a week, and then do a bunch of grinding work to try to get the media to pay attention to the spotlight.

Instead, my alliance-only statement has created an increasing media buzz all by itself without any effort on my part. I can only take from this that the message itself is something that resonates with most of the playerbase and those who follow EVE.

Looks like we just made Gamespy, too.

The ONLY thing that will make the suits at CCP take any notice is people cancelling there accounts and ONLY then if the income from subscriptions and the purchases of PLEX for the use of adding game time continually fall over a period of time.

If enough people do this then the suits at CCP might, just might sit up, take the heads out of the arse and take notice but don;t hold your breath

which is why im starting to think the idea that they WANT the whiners to quit so they can put pay 2 win into the game and start over with a fresh new group who dont know better an wont ***** about it

fixed that for you

If the game was just all about killing people, by this type barely half the people would have play the game.
Without the social part, there game would have died a long time ago.

didnt know you put only killing. I could have sworn you typed "killing/ganking/mining/building" well if you didnt mean the other two whyd you put them in?

Dunno about you but I dont log in to chat, I log in to mine/build/rat/anomaly/pvp.

Mittani? Liking things that will **** off players, making them leave, and further damaging the game? I refuse to believe such behavior would come from a Goon.

Hey Mittens, why not, since you CSM guys have all that pull an all get them to remove high sec an make it all 0.0? Then youll for sure drive off anyone who doesnt want to play YOUR game since all Goons are about is destroying OUR game that is. Then you CSM guys will have even more 0.0 to get down on since its so apparent thats all you all care about is 0.0.

Trollery aside. There should be people from all parts of the game that get elected to this thing. Someone thats in a NCP corp, another thats a hi sec missioner, a low sec pirate, high sec miner, etc. It shouldnt be all 0.0 guys cause you get what we're getting now. Ppl that dont give a rats ass about anything but 0.0 and ruining the game for high sec ppl.

Have you not considered the remote possibility that this effort is designed to cause large numbers of people to do just that?

Anything less is just :words: and sabre rattling.

I've seriously considered canceling my sub, not as a screw this game I'm leaving but more as
a money speaks louder than words. I've been back and forth on if I'm going to do it.

I fully support the PR war, and if that fails. Then perhaps its time to unsub.

Or constantly flood Jita until they kick everyone. This way we get some satisfaction AND the attention that is needed. I vote to constantly flood Jita, or atleast since 9-11 is just around the corner, an attack on Jita then. And feel free to send the love/hate from the US.

Quite the contrary. A negative media blitz may be just the thing Eve needs for long-term survival.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. As Mittens has said, upper management at CCP hasn't been listening. Forum posting can be ignored. Protests at monuments can be ignored. But get the media, gaming and non, reporting on this battle, and CCP simply can't ignore it any longer.

He's on to something here. CCP is terrible at communication. Really, really terrible. They're vulnerable to exactly this kind of tactic. Get news sites talking about this, where all the really juicy information is coming from players and the CSM (while CCP replies with typically boring PR responses) and you have an opportunity to really shape public perception about the game and the company.

The idea here is to force their hand. Make it so that they risk irreparable damage unless they do an about face and start developing Eve Online the way the vast majority of players would prefer. I know lots of people like to crap on the CSM, but creating that body was truly the worst move CCP ever made, at least from their point of view. They gave players the ability to have a legitimate voice in the media, a go-to for stories like the one we're now seeing circulate.

Of course the intention was for the CSM to be a tool for managing players, that's obvious. But Mittens understands that it could be something else entirely, and we're starting to see the realization of that.

Hopefully, CCP sees it too.

You're confused.

I'm talking about Mittens' effort to turn up the heat.

You're talking about CCP's imagined effort to get rid of paying customers.
