Been playing this game for almoste 10 years now. And one thing has never changed over these years.

Even in very delicate situations which might even concern an bug or exploit CCP just dont respond.

Well not completly true ( You do respond telling you if you file another petition you will get banned with all your accounts).

Thats how customer support is these days.

When you play this game for a longer period of time. you will eventualy get in to a position you will need to file a petition.
And when it gets complicated ...

SO whats your experience with peition.
please elaboratie me

Every single petition I have filed (and I've filed plenty) have had a response. Some petitions take longer to get to because they take time to investigate, as well as having a queue. Petitions are first come, first serve, so you have to wait until everybody else who filed a petition in that category before you gets an answer.

Exploit and harassment petitions I've filed (the first was about people placing several hundred jetcans on a stargate which caused lag, the second was about people being continually disruptive in help chat over a period of several days) have been responded to in a very timely manner (less than a day). Other types of petitions usually take more time.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

What I find hilarious is that you've been here 10 years and still can't differentiate a bug report from a petition is seems.

I put in a harassment petition and got a response from a Lead GM in about eight seconds. (Well, like an hour or whatever. Really fast, anyways.)

You forgot:
AND the GMs should be able to intuit this without reading all of the petitions.

We needed another thread about this.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Gave up on petitions.

Blame the people filing pointless petitions every day that clog up the system.

This post was lovingly crafted by a member of the Goonwaffe Posting Cabal, proud member of the popular gay hookup site somethingawful.com, Spelling Bee, Grammar Gestapo & #1 Official Gevlon Goblin Fanclub member.

Broken mission petition, ~12 minutes.
Harassment (spamming) petition. ~20minutes.

In the >5 years I've played eve, the only petitions I've had that weren't exactly expedient, were in the case of reimbursements, which is completely understandable, considering the effort of going through the logs and checking details, and the volume of petitions around events like Burn Jita.

Out of the multitude of petitions I have filed I have not had one unanswered, nor have I had a non-reimbursement related petition take more than half a day.

Sounds to me like you are incapable of filling out a petition with the appropriate required details to get your problem solved in a reasonable timeframe.

I don't file petitions. What is wrong with you all?

Since 2006, the only petition filed for me that took some time was a reimbursement request. That one took around 4 days to resolve.

Of all my mission related bug/support petitions, the average time was anything from 2 minutes to 2 hours before it was resolved.

The mission ones were always the quickest for me, but for the most part the only ones that ever took more than a day were reimbursement requests.

ok, maybe ask the question like "how many GMs / CCPs / ISDs (although technically an ISD is not worth the mention in this case as they are useless in all aspects of the game) does it take to answer all the petitions?" So far I get the impression that half of the EVE community wants to put the devs, gms, ccp employees and my personal fav, the isds into one big bag, tie the bag up and beat em without any sign of remorse, with big baseball bats. Random choice of a stick looks promising as well, but not as effective as a bb bat...

cause I too have a petition active (been 2 days now and no answer, but thats ok, why would ccp giive a tosser as they already took my 50 bucks) and it would seem rather unproffesional if they have 1 fat, sweaty, greasy guy from the finance department, with a burger in one hand and a keyboard in the other, answering the petitions and helping out people with a dire need...

if this is the case, hire more staff or get the current staff to do some charity work and provide some kind of customer support.. It dont take a masters degree to answer a (snip) petition. Anyone can do it. Get the cleaning lady to sit down and respond in a proper fashion. Im sure she would be more forthcoming then the current geeks.

and yes, Im angry... Hurf blurf!!!

in retrospective to the poster post. 10 years and ***** still the same...

Across all accounts I think I've filed two petitions intwo years. The second I don't remember anymore (and I'm too lazy to look up). Reaction was adequate since I can't remember Lol.

The first was about two skills training at the same time, was answered within several hours and the solution presented solved my problem back then. I only remember that, because I found this really weird.

So personally, I have a positive experience regarding CCP's customer support.

Roughly the same. I've only had to file a couple and they were answered overnight.

Except, you know, if you'd bothered to read the replies in the thread, instead of just **** posting, you'd have realized that the majority of respondents are actually very satisfied with response times, and furthermore, that the lack of additional complaints, shows that the census quo agrees, there is no problem.

I think it is extremely fair to assume by the quality of your post, that your petition is being ignored, on account of it being rude, and probably some petty foolish request, rather than it being delayed by the result of a long que.

Let me guess, you have petitioned CCP to give you a T2 BPO, because it is unfair that you don't have one as a result of the (long past) BPO lottery, and are extremely butthurt.
