The jukebox should be brought back.

I just resubbed to the game and was immensely disappointed to see (or, as it were, hear) the new 'dynamic' music system. While I enjoy a lot of the ambient music in EVE, about half the combat tunes simply don't move me -- I find them annoying rather than exciting. The Jukebox was a wonderful tool to kick past an unwanted song when it came on. In that way, it was far more 'dynamic' than the system we have now.

I understand that a lot of people neither like nor listen to the music in EVE, and that's fine. But for those of us who do, personal control over what we are listening to should be given priority over what CCP thinks we should be listening to. And no, before someone says it, I do not want to minimize the game and listen to the soundtrack run through Winamp.

What we had before worked. What we have now works a lot less well. That should be reason enough to return the Jukebox.

Use an out of game player then. All of the EVE's music besides the "acc gate songs" are in the EVE directory.

Help fellow Evies out and maybe win game time while listening to music.

A song that replaces the currently played song when you activate an acceleration gate.
Like this one for example.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Actually, WinAmp is still used a lot. And, is in my opinion, a much better player than most of the currently available ones. Sonique Player was also good.

Thank you.

+1 OP I also very much miss the juke box. And I can't get the mining lasers as loud I used to either.
bringing back the jukebox would be great.
