Hi guys, I took the time out to rewrite my guide on to steam's new community guide feature, added more content and still have more pictures to add though.

I will update the EVElopedia guide to reflect the new guide soon but I'm a little frazzled from writing all the new stuff ^^.

Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think, If you like it (or dislike it) rate it and favourite it! It would mean a lot to me, thanks :)

Hope this guide helps those of you who found out about EVE on Steam!

I actually liked the guide it's very simple and direct and thats good for new players Smile

I also notice a mistake it's on the "playable factions" , the ones you put where the races there's a lot more faction like the factions inside that have really good standings with each other (EX: Amarr Empire and Ammatar Mandate), also there's the pirate faction, sister of eve, concord, and some others that players can use like the jovians

Even if in the map factions like Amarr Empire and Ammatar Mandate appear as the same they aren't you could say that on the guide and once again don't forget pirate factions people might get curious and start trying to go there.

A little help on the NPC's factions

A little help on the NPC's factions

The terminology between faction/race is kind of confusing to me. On one hand we are all of the human race so that's why I put faction. In a fantasy setting a different race would be like an orc to a human or a dwarf, those are races. Though a faction would be a separate sect within a race.

Even though we where brought up on different planets and have different religions/beliefs we are all still human and originated from the same species. Much like you would regard other people of different cultures in today's society. We are the same race but belong to different cultures and countries as a way of identifying an individual.

I'll have a look though as I agree it can be a little confusing, I will have to think about this some more. Thanks for the feedback mate :)

Since those 4 are the main factions you could just leave those and make a small resume where it would included all pirate factions in just 1 text and another for other faction.

After all you don't need to write their story you just need to tell want they do and where they are this way will keep things simples

Might want to change the minmatar secondary trait from 'speed' to "missiles but not as good as caldari". Will future proof the guide or a few months.

I've explained factions in the guide more clearly now, it has it's own subheading under the mission section and a link that shows the various factions of New Eden.

And sorry Maeltstome, I can't quite get whether you are being serious or my sarcasmo-metre is broken.

I've also added more to the combat section of the guide and various other parts too. I might go in to exploration a bit... will see.

It seems the guide has been quite successful, I have already heard from a few pilots in game that got interested in it after reading, so that's pretty cool!
