Thought it was a pretty good Super Bowl this year. The teams took turns being fired up, and it was a pretty close game for once. And the brownout part was kind of classic. Biggest overhyped media event of the year, and the basic infrastructure fails.

Congrats Surf! Don't blow too much money on the engagement rings. Save up for good wedding rings. Your wife will be wearing her wedding ring for a long time, so that's where you want the quality.

All highs, no lows, must be Bose, you definitely need those 2 10's with a Bose system. Overrated, overpriced, and an absolute pig to work with because they use silly impedances on their speakers.

Not sure where people are getting the grumpy thing. Surfin' is the most relentlessly cheerful person here.

Well I'm talking about grass, like actual grass. There is nothing weird about grass so I'm thinking you are referring to something else in which case the weird is on you.

I have a lot of opinions about grass, manual transmissions, Bose speakers, Surfin's grumpiness/non-grumpiness, Machariels, and especially about how Beyonce's hyperactive half-time show almost gave me a epileptic seizure. But to avoid a tl;dr I'll just say gratz Surfin'!

I've never known a grumpy Marine.

All the Marines I've know, and especially the two I work with, are as happy as can be.

There are no Marines standing next to me, forcing this old sailor to write nice things about them.
