rule number 1 dont trust any one in eve online.

rule number 2
Whatever you invest, consider it lost, unless you know exactly what your doing.

rule number 3.
If you take it to nulsec, consider it lost before you lose it (Period)


on a side note, I wouldnt trust the advice of merchant teachers or students for that matter untill you've made the ISK back before you enevitably lose it.

The folks in this channel have been extremely helpful, going so far as to walking me through my first buy & sell order. And (I think) even going so far as to undercut my buy order to give me a taste of the 0.01 ISK wars. Big smile

Nice to see a helpful spirit on the ol' MD forum.

I hope you get around to improving the list of resources by updating the Market resources wiki page, rather than locking the resources into a forum post.

Still going strong.

A steady trickle of people need help and guidance still, though I do feel we've cleared a big group of people that have been interested in trading for a long time but never had the place to learn.

We're always happy to answer questions and give advice, and there is a community of regulars if people just need a place to hang while playing...though they are rather odd people...

Thanks to everyone who has helped contribute so far or put in a good word here. I am very satisfied with the success of this channel, and I have every intention of continuing it as a service to the community in perpetuity.

Wassup, spacenerds?

Inspiration has hit me in the face with the bat of insight and drive, so I haven't had much time for or interest in Eve this week. I hope some of the less creepy denizens of the channel have been helping people out in my absence.

That said, all I want to do this weekend is veg out, so there's a very good chance that you can catch me online and ready to offer some guidance this weekend.

Don't sit there struggling and pulling at your hair; trading in Eve is weird, and a little bit of guidance at the start goes a long way.

Definitely. One of the main points I push is that a lot of trading is just getting out there and finding out what works for you. My goal for helping in this channel is to give a sense of structure to the absolute assault of conflicting opinions and information, so that you can make those first few steps towards navigating it all yourself.

If you find you're in a place where you just don't know where to start, then drop by and we'll get you sorted.
