New player seeking training help/plan

I have had several friends play eve in the past ( neither of them do any longer) and have always found wormhole space interesting and would love to get out there and try it out. So I am curious as to my options for training as fast as possible into something useful to a corp out in wh space?

any help would be appreciated thanks

The scanning skills (Astrometric*) are a necessity in W-space. Don't try to rely on others to find everything, or you WILL end up stranded. Strategic Cruisers (T3) are popular in there, so training up one or more of those would help. I only spent a few months in a WH corp, so hopefully someone with more experience can add to that.

If you're looking to get into WHs then scanning as previously mentioned is a must. I would go for astrometrics 4 to start and all support skills at 3. As far as what ships to train for... Cov ops is a must then I would recommend training for a loki. The Loki is nice because it can be effectively shield or armor tanked and the web bonus is a must for c5 and c6 capital escalation farming. Even if you want to start out in a lower class wh which I would suggest the loki is a solid ship. The biggest recommendation for wh starting I can make is find a good corp who'll teach you the ropes.
