Charged for transactions that could not be processed (PLEX)

..I'm sorry if this is not the correct forum to post this in. Please move it it there is a better area for this topic.

Last night I attempted to purchase a plex from the eveonline store. I input my card info and a message popped up stating that I need to make sure that the info is correct and that I have enough funds for the transaction.

I checked and double checked, and ended up trying that card four times, each time getting the message stating that they were not a me to process the transaction.

So I attempted to use a different card, and was successful on my first attempt.

Today I look at my bank summery and find out that the four failed attempts on my first card had actually been processed.

I would only like to keep the plex I bought, and redeemed, with the second card. I do not want the four plex transactions or the charges from them.

I have field a petition via the website.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Never spam purchases like that. Hit it once and wait for a yes or no and then go from there. Or else what just happened will happen more often. Not really what you asked but helpful advice regardless.

..Thanks for the reply. I did wait for a yes or no and then went from there. As I got four "No's" in a row by way of "We cannot process this transaction" my next course of action was to try again, taking the message's advice and double checking if I had entered in the correct information.

Additionally, I notices the email that they had listed for my account was wrong, so I changed it and tried again.

..Best part about it I haven't reven received the PLEX from the processed transactions that were not supposed to be processed =/

I had this happen to a card from an attempted online purchase last week. that card was locked

sometimes pre-authorizations show on your ledger, but drop eventually.
