You can buy dog tags from the market and when given to certain COSMOS NPCs will you be rewarded with faction standing increases (repeatedly).

See here for the names of a few agents who offer this.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

They hire mission runners to share missions with them.

Check the prices on those dog tags... They are rare and in high demand because of this.

I did this with an alt once, you just run distribution missions in the background while you fly with your main doing normal stuff. When you get a storyline mission that has combat you fleet up with your main, have him run the mission for you, instant standings profit.

'd have to look it up again, but there are several stations with multiple distribution agents, you grab all the missions in a large industrial, set waypoints, autopilot, and go back to your main toon while you slowboat around. Alternatively you fit an indstrial for speed (overdrives) and do one mission on AP at a time. The blockade runners were actually the best for this, but the recent change to make them unscannable makes them a risk to use in case some ganker wants to try his luck.

You need a corporation with corporation standings matching at least the sec. status (by factor 10). You can buy corporations(!) from other players who will use their standings to create a corp, then leave it to you, and you inherit their standings. This only works as long as you have no standings. As soon as you have some will the game recalculate the corporation standings (about every week) and take the average of all the members' standings as the new corporation standing.

I am not sure if this still works this way and what the finer details are. You might want to check the trade sections of the forum.

The easy way is simply to buy a corp with standings. But your character must be neutral to whomever you need, in order to keep the corp standings. I've done this myself.

Edit: What Whitehound said.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

It's been a while since I put a POS up but unless things have changed you also need to be aware of one other thing. The corp standing is worked out on the *base* standings of the characters in the corp, that is before social skill adjustments are calculated for standings.

This one has tripped up a few people.

Mission running paired with alts, datacore centers, cosmos agents, career tutorial missions (you can do it in all rookie systems once and gives pretty nice faction standing boost), repeating the lvl1 epic arc and when you can finally fly a lvl4 ready ship you can repeat all the empire lvl4 epic arcs every 3 months.

If you are serious about high sec industry in the long run, it's better to be able to create your own corp with the appropriate standings any time if you want instead of buying one.

If you buy a corp from someone else (there are tons of people offering the service in Sell Orders forum), you have a week to put up a pos before your own personal standings mess it up. Once the POS is anchored, you don't need standings to online it or add more modules. Unless you work on your own standings though, you won't be able to move the tower somewhere else without buying another new corp and doing the whole thing again.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

On a related note. Are abandoned highsec POS towers still an issue or did someone go and clean them up?

The characters are boosted using another character with the high standings. So what happens is the boosting character takes a mission, the character to be boosted joins fleet and tags along. When the mission is completed and the boosting character turns it in there is an option to give all the credit to the character being boosted. The character being boosted just need basic skill to evade combat, even level 1 cloaking skills can be used, enver the mission area with the booster and then you would just cloak and watch the booster complete the mission. If the character being boosted is actually a combat pilot they could also participate in the fights if they wanted to.

If you search the Sell Orders forum for "personal standing" you will find multiple threads with people offering this service.
