Awesome thread. Gives some real insight into the Caldari/Gallente warzone for those of us on the "other side of the pond" in Min/Amarr. (:

I almost feel like someone from our side needs to step up and come up with a history like this. ^^

Here is the pos killmail from high-sec Villore. Unfortunately the actual battle report has disappeared from Eve-Kill long ago. I seem to recall we destroyed about six battleships in process of stopping them repairing the POS before downtime (rf timer was conviniently timed to come out during dt).

What we killed while putting it reinforced, if we killed anything at all that is, I cannot recall.

The battle of Hasmijaala was historic in the sense that:
1-It was the First Major Battle The Caldari Banded together to push the Gallente back with authority in a very long time
2-It was a major show of support to Hidden Snake and the Inglorious Bastards
3-It was a 4 day battle royale for all four factions as well as MC and PL

P.S. Did someone from Shadow of xXDEATHXx just insinuate outnumbering an opponent is nothing to brag about? I mean given the recent nullsec events and all.

Funny thing is: i never seen on this forum one from DRF or xxDEATHxx bragged about blobs/backstabbing/outnumberring.... Well maybe i don't watch forums well. Lol

My friend, DRF was attacked and had an overwhelming response where they outnumbered there opponent, nothing wrong with that. Kind of the same thing happened with Hasmijaala. Smile

Nice read, I remember being some what of a pawn in many of those stories, interesting to read exactly(albeit from a perspective) what went on.

Well done Mantis, it was a fascinating insight into the Caldari war machine who were my mortal enemy for so long.

Favourite enemy FC's to fight against were Andraz way back in the early days of FW and FG. As Gallente pilots we knew these guys would not only bring it, but stick around even if it didn't look like it was going to be their day.
