Is this even possible? My job takes up a ton of time and I have little time to farm, like maybe an hour a day if I'm lucky. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? I would like to have the ability to fit like 10 ships and not care if I lose them.

I'm not really an expert at making money in EVE, but one way to keep your expenditures down is to PvP in frigates.

RvB warfare looks fun. For some reason I forgot about frigs and have been fitting t2 BC's for like idk 125mil a pop which I couldn't sustain. Losing aton of frigs however is sustainable.

If you are just flying t1 frigates that will cost about 10 mill a pop then you can get over 50 of them for the cost of a plex.

RvB would be a good place to send them.

Or go to a fw area. GCC has been eliminated so you can get more targets if you stay neutral. (also you will be able to dock in any stations you want) You will just get sentry guns if you fight on stargates or stations. (generally not a good idea anyway)

I woudln't get them all at once if you are new to pvp though. As you may change your fittings as you start to learn things.

I make decent money buy buying 2xs what I need at jita bringing it down to a major base and then selling the half I don't need at large profit margin over jita prices. Sometimes in eve you need money to make money.

Plus you should occassionally win and be able to collect the loot.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

I'd go with FW is you are time/isk limited.

You can have tons of fun with just frigs and easily sustain yourself.

I do it by flying ships that are cheap and killing ships that are expensive. These are my latest losses:
8x Condor
5x Executioner
2x Harpy
2x Taranis
2x Atron
Tormentor
Cyclone
Armageddon
Thrasher
Hawk
Vengeance

I've similar free time, maybe one hour/day during week and som more during WE. FW is perfect, and give you a chance to easly support your loss.

Thanks for all the tips hopefully other new pilots will read this and it will help them transition into pvp. I've already fitted about 8 frigs. Tackle, ECM, and regular dps/tank. Basically what I got out of this was; fly cheap ships when you are starting out, gain some type of passive income, pirating is a quick pvp fix and bountiful, and l2trade and not farm! Thanks yall, I have a direction and goals now :) It is easy to get effing lost in this game!

One annoyance with FW is the great length people go to avoid fighting you, or well me at least.
I recently came back after a break, and last few days I have had more gangs RUN AWAY from me in a SOLO rupture than I probably had monthly before I left....

We're talking me vs multiple people odds too... (pretty much all the time too)

And the few I did manage to catch, had such insane nano fits they **** outran my overheated mwd rupture....

Or is FW plexes not how to do it? (I'm not joining one side, I like more people to shoot than eliminate half of them)

Except 11-12 motherships and a guy with a backup Rook that decloaked before I returned fire, I have not had anyone really try and engage me on gates either (I'm outlaw ANYONE can shoot me just fine).

Given most of the advice here on forums I've read says FW I returned to minmatar low-sec, but so far I have been left with woefully little fights to show for it.

At this rate I might even get my first ship that survives it's insurance period...

Awox people, it costs virtually nothing, you rarely lose a ship and the tears you get are incredible.

I have found that FW'ers will be more likely to fight if you are a WT but just run if you are a neutral (pirate)

I have also not much time to play this game which means that I am absolutely not willing to spend my precious time on farming ISK or something like this. However, I found Faction Warefare a very good way to a) earn ISK while b) doing PVP!

The key to success is:

  1. Fly only cheap stuff, like faction frigates (with you get cheaply from your LP store) or T1/T2 Frigates.
  2. Fit only T2 modules, avoid fitting with faction or dead space modules. Only exception are faction modules which you can cheaply get from your LP store.
  3. Go with friends, this raises your survivability significantly. If solo then you really should only engage what provides you good chances to win. Keeping own losses low is key.
  4. Do not forget to loot the wrecks. Salvaging T2 wrecks can also gain you a lot of ISK.
  5. If you get low on ISK or all WT are hiding then start running plexes offensively or defensively until next PVP action comes to you.
  6. If enough LP and you short on ISK then start trading LP for stuff which you trade at a trade hub.

Usually if you manage to do points 1 to 4 successfully you even will not need to go to points 5 and 6 which are the "fall back solution".

OFC it is possible ... pirate in FW space ... no rush about loosing ur stuff in locked station, plenty of targets and easy isk if u make capturing alt which will orbit buttons for you.

Go pirate if you're a man
Fw if you're a scrub
And rvb if you're a scrub thats afraid of low sec

No all kidding aside, I'd say rvb untill you have at least 40 kills and 20 losses. FW until you have double that.

(Or you can do what i did and join a really good pvp corp and start flying with them, but that is more of a jumping in on the deep end thing)

If you really want to pvp though thing number 1. 2 and 3 is GET THE **** OUT OF HIGHSEC, Don't believe what anyone tells you, high sec pvp is ******* terrible.

(Edit also note if you go -5 and have issues with logistics, it only takes 1-2 weeks to train a on account alt to use a hauler properly and then you can use him to buy stuff in jita and haul it to a low sec border system. You can then pick it up there yourself with your main (Faction police can't catch anything))

BYDI recruitment closed-ish

actual fw has broken mechanics ... it is much better to be part of FW as a external force with alt to make u isk.
