FOR SERIOUS POST:
It's amazing to see the value of the so called "unique" ships in EVE. Even the Guardian Vexor, which really isn't all that unique, is worth more than a Titan, more than many T2 BPOs, worth more ISK than a noob can even imagine about.

How much does a State Raven go for these days?

However I did actually read the blog! The value of rare/discontinued items has always been fascinating to me. I remember dumping/destroying/recyling so many things that are valuable now that I'd wish to have been more of a packrat.

I still have 500 Anaconda Mines in Dodixie. They're obviously of utterly no use to me whatsoever, but it makes me feel smug having them.

Mines would be a neat reintroduction, could you imagine them in w-space, could be fun.

How interesting! I never thought that players would "collect" items.

I'm liking the "side analysis" that this update contains. Is it possible that the sum total of the monthly indices update are equal to a quarterly report?

I love this stuff but I'm not an economist.

What does it mean if a price index > 100 or < 100 ?

That the current price of X number of goods is that percentage of base period Y ? What is this base period ? Okay, I the base period for each estimate is the previous month apparently...

So if > 100 then inflation and if < 100 then deflation ? <100 is deflation as current prices are lower than previous prices, i.e. isk is worth more, and > 100 is inflation as prices are higher. Amiright ?

So....prices are 'relatively rising' ?

Ya its one of those things i continually wish they would reintroduce for nullsec only... i mean they make bombers work why not introduce the spacemines, and introduce ship and modules for both disarming and laying them
