I'm risk adverse when it matters. Blink

It's just I'm usually pretty good at knowing if it's possible for me to have a chance of a win, assuming no extra surprises. My risk adversity runs more along the lines of, if I think I can kill something before he gets help or knowing the fits the other pilot uses. If all I cared about was just ganking a bunch of kills then I could do that, but if I'm out I'm usually looking for a fight that is challenging. I don't care if it's 2 or 3 vs 1 or 1 vs 1 as long as I feel it's a reasonable fight.

Example there are some guys in Comets that I simply wont fight if I'm flying a Hookbill due to the fact I know they fly the nanno Rail fit that I can't catch. However if it's just a random guy in a comet and I'm in a hookbill then I'll have a go. If I'm in a Hook & it's 2 guysd in Incursus then probably not due to the fact that they rep like crazy. Two guys in Tristans then probably yes..

I'm sure your a hero to the Federation and I'm quite sure you, Nexx and Chat have all challenged your selves in PVP. I'm just saying the bulk of the PVP out there these days, is mostly easy solo kills for guys of our skill points. Hell I'm a easy solo kill anymore, because I haven't been flying much, so I'm out of practice and don't know the common ship fits.

Maybe you can instead tell us a super special story about how you sotf guys single handily did something that's really really important with internet space ships. Perhaps you guys killed a dread that we haven't all heard about yet.

Thing is, with people flying frigs and dessies, the percentage of perfect SP for the ship the pilot is flying should on average be greater.

Look at it on the flip side - if you got what you wanted, and everyone had to fly around in battlecruisers or battleships to be useful, they take longer to train for and more people would be in them with worse % of perfect skills to fly it.

So in the current situation, there's more pilots that are closer to the perfect SP with frigs and dessies than there would be with larger ships.

The amount of butt-hurt, bitter and whine-tastic from the usual suspects in this tread is impressively high. as usual.

I would seriously sugjest to all of you complaining about this and that to either stop and play the game you seem to care so much for, or stop and quit playing. EVE Online is a computer GAME, and you are supposed to enjoy it. The larger effort of the FEDEF players and their victories is due to a higher number of them enjoying what they do every day, as opposed to most of the complainers in here who seem to have lost all will to entertain themselves with anything but paranoid whining. I fail to see why you would pay to be bitter and sad every day. Talk about dis-service...

On the topic at large - Congratulations are due for everyone who worked hard to achieve this, no matter how long or short the total control lasted - you got your victory AND instant replenishment of PVP-willing targets. DOUBLE SCORE! Blink

How many stabbed galmil vexors and farmers we need to kill again?
Are there peeps in galmil WITHOUT warp core stabs on their ships? Or people NOT running away in algos+enyo from a little lonely hookbill? Have my doubts inbetween....

I know amarr militia is doing better now. But only because all these damn farmers joined us. I hate it. Farmville everywhere.
FW Tier system is 98% pve mechanic.
Congrats. We now know who is biggest carebear alliance in eve^^

Are you the one telling others they should play the game? What would you know about it?

Let me guess, you pulled an ank and captured hundreds of plexes without a single pvp kill. Its become more common than ever.

I am sure comments like this will go in every medal thread until ccp actually changes fw from the carebear race it is.

We've been getting some questions about what the criteria for receiving the medal was.

We gave the medal to every character that had received at least one LP from the FDU in the month between Dec 12th and Jan 12th.

If I wanted to flaunt my 130m sp and the 20b in my wallet I wouldn't be in FW. Small ship combat is pvp utopia IMO. Being just another automaton in a legion of F1 mashing, make a sandwich while i wait for TiDi, retards isn't my bag baby.

How nice, instead of taking the advice in the spirit it was offered, you pulled a "Your kill-counter means your not playing and kill-board stats are absolutely important" argument.

I was tempted to just... flame you, but I came to think that maybe, just maybe, you don't know what the consept of 'multiple characters' means. Or realize that my advice can be appreciated even if I am active or not - after all, I said that instead of whining on the forums, you can stop and play the game instead, or stop and quit the game.

I am not whining on the forums, unline others here, but on the other hand I have long held to BOTH parts of my own advice, by both not whining and not playing (on this toon) and not whining and playing the game instead (on my FW toon).

Also Cearain, next time someone argues against you, counter the argument instead of trying to character assassinate, the latter makes you look like a complete idiot that can't even answer to the arguments offered.

Hello Mr. Alt.

I didn't make the argument you suggest.

I already knew I can play the game or quit the game.

Your post is illogical with respect to the problems raised about the fw sov mechanics.

But perhaps I misunderstood. If so, please give the argument you offered countering the people who have expressed negative views regarding value of this medal. Because in the meantime your post appears to just say "this person doesn't agree with me so I will call him a "whiner" and tell him to stop crying."

There may be others who agree with you and are happy the fw sov is a carebear race and they may give you a thumbs up. But that doesn't mean your post has any worth.

You may be happy with fw as a carebear race. That is your opinion. But just telling people who don't share your view to stop posting will only get positive reactions from idiots.

Unlike the last time a medal was achieved for warzone control, we actually had to kick the Caldari out of all their home systems in the FW warzone. This led to quite fierce fighting, the peak of which was around the clock in Rakapas.

Yes, plexing was still a pve activity in systems people didn't care about docking in. But those that cared, regardless of timezone, could participate, again unlike the previous one.

At the very least, this medal represents a "we kicked your asses out of FW space, even your home systems could not hold" pvp achievement.
