I'm just a new player so take what I say with a grain of salt: Everyone I talk to loves the tengu. It makes me sick. Tengu this...or tengu that. Sounds like a safe bet.

I do a lot of Sasha ratting in a Corax fitted with light missile. 80km range for the harder sites and just kite the stronger rats.

I like my Cerberus... of course i havent flown it since the missile nerf so i have no idea if its still worth it

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

Tengu is kind of a cruddy choice against Sansha due to damage types. Sansha shoot EM and aren't weak to Kinetic.

I'd go Raven.

Best would be a CNR or Golem, since they don't have to deal with having a kinetic damage bonus. Tengu will work but it's less than optimal.

Blaster Rokh, plenty of damage, good tank (not that you'll need it for belt ratting) plus anything with blasters is cool. Also because its a Caldari ship it gets a range bonus which is nice for using Null.

Way too much tank on that for belt ratting so you might want to take off the XLSB and Cap booster and have a MWD and LSE or something. 726 DPS, 24.6km optimal (which is enough considering that you usually land 10-20km from the rats at a belt). Add drones to taste.

PS: If you don't have t2 blasters probably get a CNR until you do (Blaster Rokh is better and cheaper)

EDIT: Also because of blasters, you are doing about 50% thermal damage which is the Sansha's second lowest resist

A good missile ship (even though it's not caldari) is a MWD/HAM Sacrelige. It's great for sansha ratting in nullsec.

Depends where.

Risk versus efectiveness.

At the moment I hear everybody cursing about Sansha TD's so I'd skip the hybrides.

Safe space CNR

Less Safe Space SNI/Nighthawk

Dangerous space Tengu.

The Tengu is a awesome ship, though it's kinetic bonus is useless to Sansha, the Battleships have a RoF bonus,

The only reason to choose the Tengu over the Nighthawk is it's survivabillity in 0.0 and WH-space

Basicly these subsystems will do.

Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node
Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer
Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir

the last 2 depend more on how comfortable you feel and where you are., if you're in friendly 0.0 you might skip the nullifier and the covorts ops, if not you should in my opinion always use the nullifier the covort-ops depends on how safe you feel, you might suficient with a normal cloak the ejector bay and a MWD.

Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay
or-> more safty less gank
Tengu Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration

Tengu Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier
or when you feel very safe
Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst

Sansha TD's aren't that bad, especially in belts where there might be 1 with a really weak one. I would only use a Tengu with HAMs because it would actually do DPS and you don't need the extra range HMLs provide. I also forgot to mention the Naga is like the Rokh but faster and with a bit more DPS.

By ratting do you mean the classical warping from belt to belt or anoms. If the latter then depending on to what you have access a sentry Chimera can do pretty well.

The fit is - 3 - 4 drone controls, mild tank (cap shield booster can take anoms even without hardeners if you must), something for sentry damage, dont forget the sentry rigs for a pve carrier.

Tengu in hostile null, CNR/Golem in safe null.

The tengu might have kinetic bonus, but the acceleration bay module also has RoF bonuses, so you will be on par with BS bonuses.

CNR for sure
tengu do bad dps with em missile, rokh or naga shoot th/kin and still do less dps than the cnr.

I wouldn't use the Tengu as much as I love the ship. The Kinetic missile damage bonus doesn't work to great against Sansha either.

Your best bet would to use a missile ship that doesn't have the kinetic bonus or a Rail Naga or Blaster Rokh. Make sure you are at the very minimum 100km away from the Sansha battleships with the Naga or else you might get fried. Keep in mind that some of them fire missiles that can hit you 100km + away. It's not a lot of damage, but in a Naga it can become a problem after a few hits.
