So OOPE is the place where we hang out and talk about random crap and rarely about anything ingame related. But I often wonder what you guys are actually doing ingame (well atleast those of you who aren't just forums warriors). Some of you are easy to guess by the corp / alliance, while others are much harder.

Myself, is one of the easy guess. I shoot smurfs, or atleast trying to do that, when I am ingame. My only income is a bit of trading I do as a side project, but its not much. I mostly live off a pile of isk I have gathered from incursions.

Nothing. I am so overworked (currently having a sandwich over my desk) that I can only log in, change skills, and log off. Kids and wife are also demanding, as it is to be expected.

I keep connected to EvE via other activities (news sites, etc).

When I manage to scrounge an hour, I try to gank people in Syndicate and chat with pals over comms.

I miss 2009 and having a couple of hours a day for videogames.

My corpse is floating inside a secure container at the EVE cemetery, Molea.

Where it will remain for as long as this game exists, as today is the last day of my subscription.

Currently I am tinkering a bit with my portrait.

Earlier until October 2012 I used to mine, and prior to that I used to run missions.

Currently my main EVE-related activity is banging my head on the Door, aka forum-warrioring for a string of hopeless causes ranging from solo gameplay to WiS gameplay and casual gameplay -anything that once implemented could justify the shameful amount of time and money I threw into EVE.

Actually my buddy and I were thinking about heading over to RvB but we came up with another scheme that we think we can pull off so we're working on getting his sec status up to put it into action.

Noodling about, mostly.

Just got done spending a couple weeks harassing intruders in our WH. No kills, but solo-bombing dosesn't generate a lot of those against competent WH-fit hulls. I killed a lot of drones, and vape'd a lot of wrecks and generally scared the living hell out of a lot of unwary intruders though. Twisted

Chasing folks out of our little slice of heaven means that we get all the ribbons to ourselves. Profit! Blink

Bored with that so now I'm doing some exploration stuffs.

Buy PLEX with ISK and apply to account every now and then.
EDIT:I still have enough ISK to pay for several decades' worth of subscription.
Queue skill in training whenever EVEMon cries about it.
Occasionally help out RL friends with a bit of ISK, or a PLEX, or advice, or opening a mission and such. Not that often at all lately.
Sometimes check and post on forums.
Not much else.

Im a director for an up and coming Caldari Faction Warfare corp that is a part of one of the more integral FW alliances in the militia... (we are recruiting!) And so I kill gallente (or get killed, gallente like to blob solo plexers). I use the LP to make all my money by playing the market and whatnot. And I use the forums. OOPE is fun and entertaining. ;D

I only logged once to kill someone in pvp in FW so people could stop saying I knew crap about pvp ... havenΒ΄t logged in ages for more than the 10 secs it takes me to switch a skill.

So I do nothing ingame sadly ... Shocked

Grats on the kill. Unfortunately it was a reason in futility. Rule # 23 of forum warfare states that people will grab on to any reason to downplay your examples just to prove their point is valid.

If you group with anyone at all, you are a blobber.
If you solo, you know nothing about teamplay and big time battles.
If you go after high sec mission runners, you are a carebear who can only fight weak targets
If you go after solo targets in lowsec, you are still a carebear who can only fight weak targets
If you suicide gank, you are just a griefer
If you only have a handful of kills, you are a noob who doesn't know what he's talking about

The list will go on and on. In sword n board mmo's the most common refute is that unless you are a rank xx (top level) with 1000's of kills attached to your name, your word means squat. Even having a history of pvp spanning back since the dawn of mmo's means nothing when it comes to the need to be right.

This isn't even strictly applied to pvp either, we in oope see this action all the time during debates when people attempt to post evidence of any kind.

Currently, I am either trying to shoot OP or trying to shoot others with him- both with moderate success.

I started this toon as a manufacturer / inventor which often brought me into highsec indy corps in the earlier years.

And I had to learn that the mere concept of manufacturing and inventing obviously goes beyond the understanding of most of those people.

Corp "Oh Hi, Zimmy, welcome to the corp, glad to have you with us. Mining OP starts in 15 minute"
Z: "I don't mine, I told you."
Corp " But you told me you were an industrialist"
Z "I build stuff. I do not mine"
Corp : "Yeah, but you need minerals to build stuff, right?"
Z "Yeah, that's right"
Corp: "Then hop into a barge, mining OP is in 15 minutes"
Z: "....because minerals I mine with you are free, right?"
Corp "sort of, yeah"

So this is a point when I usually start to bite into my keyboard and then slam my head against the screen repeatedly.

Since I turned away from industry about one year ago (I still build some minor amounts of t2 stuff to cover for my pvp losses), the whole game has taken a new direction for me that I quite like.
So many sane people in the more pvp oriented corps.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Well as long as you dont end up like This guy <- link fixed

He spend 22 hours straight to grind sec status and as soon as he joined us he wanted to drop his legion on our Frig FFA event. Which resultet in him getting kicked, because he did not stop when told to and he got mad and wardecced us. He thought he would outsmart us with station games and, that didn't end well :)

My current diversion is camping trade hubs and battling suspect-tagged people. Very fun-- people play docking/undocking games, and lots of times that suspect guy turns out to be bait for a tarp. To pay for my blown up ships and implants, I do T2 invention and mfging.

If things are slow on my alliance's chat channel, I sometimes hang out in the Recruiting channel. It's kind of an ingame version of OOPE. Some pretty humorous b.s. in there sometimes that has nothing to do with recruiting.

I also have an alt in RvB for quick and cheap PVP sports action. Also very fun. o7 to the people that keep RvP organized and going!

Some day...some day you will mine yourself. Be it curiosity or space-poverty.
And when you this, know that I will be there.
I will not shoot you. I will just web and scram you with my perma-repping Maller and orbit you..and then I will go afk for the rest of the day. Twisted

Link is taking me to your page but its not bringing up any information. Pasting link in google doesn't give me a return as well. Is that the guy who claimed to be a senior member of Triple A as well and he went off to create the Yellow faction, then post a totally ripped off version of your recruitment message that you guys have and change all of the RvB's to RvBvY to make it seem like they have been around for a while?

Because if so that guy was HIGH-larious.

Nahh, just a random idiot who claims he is the pvp god. His name is Laou Tzu and look at his losses, you will most likely find the legion they popped.

But I dont understand why you can't see the KM, its from our killboard which is public :S
