3D Rendering - Star Trek XI Style Warp

So... to stretch my rendering and compositing skills a little I've been working on an alliance video, which is still a long way off from being finished because im lazy :D However I've finished a short segment and thought I'd share.

Thanks, glad you like it... when I post up the finished alliance intro, i'll link it on this thread also... may be a while though, rendering is slow :(

"nice can you do a render of them coming out of warp?" - I'm not planning on doing that no, this little render will be the last sequence in what I have planned. The ones before it will be the fleet forming up to warp from a pos or something, still working on that.

Yeah, that would look badass!.


@OP - If you do do a exiting warp animation at some point, I've always been partial to this type of effect =)
