I vaguely remember that a while ago there were some dev blogs pertaining to the hardware that the TQ cluster runs on. Anyone have the link or know what they run?

There's a bit of info on the Evelopedia, but it seems to be fairly outdated.

For those of us who enjoy reading about the tech specs for high powered computer hardware, could CCP provide us with an update on this stuff?

Are they still running with the same equipment from near 14 months ago?

Surely they've upgraded since then.

In the youtube video, dose anyone remember what was the name of the dev on the left, his old TQ character name? I remember him flying a dominix on TQ prior to joining CCP many years ago.

"Tranquility"

It is the main game server. Others are "Singularity", which is a test server, "Buckingham" is another one. "Serenity" is the Chinese server. And there are others, too. TQ is the one we play on.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

His old character name was Jamesw. He was a tournament commentator many moons ago before he joined CCP.

Tranquility, afaik, is a borderline supercomputer, surely they've upgraded since ~14 months ago, however the EvE cluster is awesome, ccp should release more pictures as nerd porn. I can see it now, "Fozzie gives the Kor-Azor node some Extra Credit" mmmm...

..lol beer
