Chinese EVE Server. Need a translation on the sign up screen.

If you are fluent in Simplified Chinese I need your help.

I've pretty much deciphered what this ******* form says. However, I can't figure out what two of those boxes mean, and I don't speak Chinese, so I need some help brothers, I want to venture onto Serenity because TQ is shite.

So help me spacefriends!

Well they have strange laws in China, if i'm not mistaken they have like a id code they have to input into the game that will basically determine their play times allotment. So one is probably that id code and maybe the other is a birth date?

Simplest one first:

The pop up box says: Please enter your real name, to ensure protection of your rights

(Basically, the CN government has measures in place to try to reduce the scammers etc, such as requiring photo ID to use cybercafes etc., similarly online games are a big source of RL scam income, although the real scammers have ways to get around that).

For the screenshot of signup page, the left most column is 'Real Name' and 'ID card number' <- this is issued by the CN goverment to all citizens of China. Unfortunately if you're not a Chinese national, the only way to get around this is ask someone from China to sign up an account for you since the name matches the ID number, IIRC. Passports don't work I think.

Can you also provide a link to the signup page and i'll give it a go, since always wanted to play on Chinese server for a laugh.

Also, has it worked for you? Let me know how it goes.

You can pull a name and ID number with a google image search, I can't remember if I used a matching name or not when I played on serenity for a while, probably not as typing Chinese characters is a pain in the arse on an English keyboard.

There's a few guys on the scrapheap challenge forums that may be able to help you with subbing. Search for posts relating to ceve.

The most unnormal is that they fly good ship with Factinal fitting,they fit Trei 5 fitting for flight
the popular sule"bigger ship is better",so that they always fly BS for flight
all items price is high,this is very important

That's the way it works there, I believe you need that ID number for pretty much any western MMO, cultural pollution and all that.
It's pretty much the equivalent of a national insurance number or social security number.

Serenity is only a server for Chinese players. Playing Serenity from IP addresses outside China is not allowed.
