So yea i got an old toon back, and to my disappointment he wasnt much SP wise, 1.7M only. what would you do with this toon? im open for anything as his skills are lacking (he has BS 2 but no support skills and not even heavy guns) if i recall correctly i was trying out mining at first and got fed up with it, then rushed BS and lvl5 missile launcher and drones 5...

My new account has way better core support skills but no lvl 5, and can only fly a BC. dont think there was dessy's and BC back then....? reason for my old account to have BS i guess...

edit: when i think about it, i think i used a BS to mine with for some reason

Yeah... i don't recommend you to fly a bs with this amount of SP. Ask yourself what you want to do with this character and train something accordingly. With only 1.7mil SP you won't lose a lot if you decide to go for trading for instance.

It's really hard to give you any advice if you don't tell what you plan to do.

You might try selling him? It's been shown recently that 2003 toons will sell for the low billions, perhaps as much as 3+ for one with a good name. Yours with a single name is cool, 1.7m sp is better than none and even while he's from 2004, they are pretty rare to find. I suspect if you put him up for sale legally on the Character Bazaar you should be able to get 1.5b isk pretty quick, perhaps more if you hold out.

You were smart and picked a name that's at worst not crap, and to many probably pretty cool. Definitely sell it, and then either start a new account using those funds, or buy a different account from the char bazaar if you prefer to start with (probably ~5-8m) SP.

This. Although, keep in mind that the transfer fee is 2 PLEX or $20, so at 1.5B you will not be making much off of the deal. You're also not likely to get much more than that out of a character that has < 30 days worth of SP. If you manage to make a couple hundred million off him, it's better than nothing. Then start a clean noob with a nice little wallet.

EvE is supposed to suck.  Wait . . . what was the question?
