Large nullsec alliance entry requirements

I have been browsing through several forums, but most of them seem to want players only with more than 10-15 M SP.

Is it even possible to get into the larger alliances like test, goons, razor etc. with 3-5 m SP?

i can be wrong here (been away from 0.0 for like a year) however...

Usually it is not alliance who recruits. Actual recruitment is done by its corporations. You become member of corporation.
This means that actual requirements you get from corporation recruiter. And it depends of him and his corporation.

Let's say is corporation does PvP you need to fly doctrine ships with good skills.
However if you are getting into industrial corp you can get with retriever and train hulk later. Additional skills will be bonus but they are not "must have".

Choose what do you want from 0.0 and then browse for alliance/corporations.

Don't think skill points are the barrier with any of those

TEST - Reddit account
GOONS - Something awful account
RAZOR - Valid LARP membership

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Goons only recruit from the something awful forums and the others you'll have to jump thru hoops like a good doggie but it helps to know someone inside who can vouch for you or have a killer kill board with lower SP toon and focus on PVP cause that's what they look for including you got to bare all full API your alt, transactions, a letter from your mother yada yada.

Think of corp recruitment requirements as recommendations. Ideally, you would fit most of the req's. The majority of corps will work with you if you show interest.

In general large nullsec alliances don't want to bring in low skill point folks for fear of spies, and general lack of leetnesss. The Goons and Test corps require some number months membership in their forums. Other alliances like pandemic simply have too high of skill point and killboard requirements. That said both the HBC, and CFC have a lot of corps, and semi-allied corps that do recruit low sp characters.

Things to note:

0) If it's test or the goons and you didn't go the forum route it's a scam.

1) If some asks for an API it's pretty standard.

2) If some asks for a deposit/fee it's a scam.

3) If they ask you to contract them all your worldly possessions it's a scam. Once you get in corp, and get out to NS then you can contract some of your stuff over for transport.

My advice is to look at faction warfare or low sec corps 1st. Get some pvp experience, something on your killboard and some people who will vouch for you. Most pvp focused corps I've been in have ended up moving to NS or some portion has broken off to do so within 6 months.

PS- Also get your self in the Recruitment channel in game.

alot of 0.0 have feeder alliances. I believe Tribal Band is test alliance feeder and Fatal ascension is the goon one.Try applying to those ones first.

This is untrue. GoonWaffe- the severely bloated 8000 man flagship corp recruits explicitly from SA, member corps in the alliance "Goonswarm Federation" have their own recruiting practices.

This is also what I gathered. Any idea if member corporations of the alliance recruit people with 3-5M SP?

I was browsing through the recruiting tool the other day and there was a Fatal Ascension corp and a TEST one that would come up as: new player friendly. Try those filters if you're looking for the true 0.0 power bloc experience.

I'm sure some of them do, you just need to look at Dotlan or use the ingame tools to see the member corps and most of them will have recruitment contact info in their descriptions. Just be aware that theres about 150 corps in GSF but a lot of them are personal corps for dropping pos and moon mining. Theres about 40 or so "real" corps. You can figure out the real ones by the member count Smile

Alternatively I would suggest contacting an official recruiter like Scooter McCabe

The reason for the SP requirement is not that your character is finally useful. The point is the damage that letting in an infiltrator can cause. People are very willing to invest a month or two (and $15 real) building an infiltration alt. They are less likely to spend 2 years ( and $350 real) building an infiltration alt.

this is terrible advice

nobody in their right mind would use the recruitment tool, use dotlan to find a corp (and disregard any corp with less than 50-100 members as it is an alt corp and probably only set up for scamming purposes).

From my experience talking to other people in EVE, corps in TEST or Goons, even if its not Dreddit or Goonwaffe scam.

your experience is misleading.

there are corporations in TEST and GSF that recruit from other communities (e.g. Eighty Joule Brewery - Elitist Jerks; Merch Industrial - Penny Arcade; Bat Country - f13.net; Ars Ex Discordia - Ars Technica; ...) and there are corporations that just do public recruitment (e.g. Eternity Inc, WIdot, Enlightened Industries, The Milkmen, ...).

As I said above - scams are usually conducted with personal alt corps (PACs) which are easily recognized.

Hi. I got into Dreddit with approximately 6000 skillpoints (or however many it is you have when you start the game).

To join Dreddit, all you need is to have been an active Redditor for at least three months. This is because Dreddit is a Reddit community. Other corps in TEST have their own recruitment procedures. Enlightened Industries, for example, is notoriously sluttish when it comes to letting people in.

The other way to join Dreddit is to persuade a current member of Dreddit to sponsor you. If you can find any Dredditors and persuade them to sponsor you, you're in.

Do unto others before they do unto you Pirate

It's not hard to make ingame friends and acquaintances, it's just hard to trust them. In Eve friendship is cheap, trust is the valuable commodity here.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Sorry, you will have to train your awoxing alt more to gain entry.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
