We are currently unaware of what has caused this situation, although we believe it may have something to do with some server rollbacks post-Asakai fight.

In any case were are currently looking at losing a System <24hrs (something that is not suppose to be possible under the current Faction Warfare mechanics).

Pavanakka was [lost] for the Gallente to Caldari at 20:07 27-01-2013, as such at Downtime today ownership changed with it being 0% Contested. As I am writing this however it is currently just under 85% Contested.

This has somehow been achieved within a 5-6hr period following downtime, and while we have pilots working to help correct this situation; realistically we're looking at a "too little to late" situation and all of the work that was put in prior to the weekend along with the bunker bust to flip it is likely to be lost.

We have looked at many of the other systems and seem some evidence that a server rollback may have occured at downtime, but there is nothing conclusive aside from this single system.

In order to have achieved 85% within a 5-6hr period the Gallente would've had to have run ~120 Complexes, which while post Downtime generally a few extra spawn (between 5-10) they then take 20minutes to respawn with only 3-4 per respawn being available ... this is what keeps systems at a roughly 36hr period to flip period. Clearly this is not the case with Pavanokka.

The chances of us holding on to this system honestly are now slim-to-none, with CCP effectively handing it right back to the Gallente. We would appreciate it if CCP would look into this inccident and surrouding problems that may have happened, as this has annoyed a large number of pilots who put quite a bit of time to flip that system in the first place.

This is the whole reason we kickstarted the Asakai fight, we have no interest in supercap fights, we just wanted to thrash the server hard enough so Chatgris can do his magic and get us Pavanakka.

Aye we know there are bugs, keep trying to figure some out that are being used by each side so that they can be brought to CCPs attention the best we can.

To Forum Warrior Gallente: either add something useful to the thread about mechanics you have noticed that have an issue or go back to one of the other troll / joke threads (of which you guys have many) ... the biggest reason I rarely post outside of a certain area of the forum is because of the basic attitudes of certain individuals who apparently have little to no lives with which to actually entertain themselves so much post bilge all over the place.

with all respect to CCP (which is quite low now) 1) well ... system is ****** I am now trying to calculate about ur tier level btw, 2) havent seen FW petition trully solved, 3)Hans is not FW rep (he is representing partial interest group of FW faction), 4) yeah it is hassle (but as every caldari will tell you - we getting pretty used to fight the uphill battles, despite some idiots opinion about moralle).

I just hope this will not lead to some bright idea of system reset.

In any case, work the petition magic and contact Hans if you can.

A system reset would **** over the Gallente far worse than the Caldari (Given we've lived in Nenna and Nisuwa for years now). If there was a reset, it would favour the Caldari greatly at this point.

Unless they got rid of these terrible station lockout mechanics, then they can reset every day for all i care.

Yeah, I know. This has been petitioned as well, and as I understand it someone has passed on the info to Hans.
The petition will likely take a few days to be noticed, let alone getting back a non "System is working as intended" crap, especially as it is likely they recently got a massive backlog of pointless crying.

Keeping this civil between us will likely increase the chances CCP who read the forums won't simply pass over it as yet more crying or trolling from both sides.

From what I've been told now, we've pushed it back down to a level to a more reasonable level so by the time this gets resolved likely won't need CCP intervention - but then that is obviously time that could've been focused elsewhere. As this has happened in the past, might be ideal if somehow a dialog could be opened up with CCP about what the core issue here is and perhaps come up with a way of preventing it in the future.

I mean generally as I said tend to stay out of most of the forum, as always seen them as a means of providing feedback for specialised areas with other areas designed for kinda "shooting the ****" kinda things ... but notice that doesn't seem to be the case outside of where I normally post. Will know this for next time and leave posts about this to others more "seasoned" to these areas.
