I remember a scene from EvE... Best atmosphere I've ever seen

I remember going into some mission or something, and instead of the usual empty space with a few gas clouds... I saw a full on storm that had these space tornados and lightning... Maybe more I don't remember.

But It was probably the coolest thing I've seen in the game so far, anybody know what I'm talking about?

Where can I find it again?

I do recall doing this mission, not sure if was a storyline or lvl 3.

It was Recon 3/3 and last I remember, the backdrop was removed.

CCP, we really need more of those backdrops, not fewer.

That's what I'd like to know, too.

Probably changes in the engine that no longer allows a backdrop to overlap with the skybox.

I remember that... stormclouds... tornadoes... greenish color right? weren't there deadly clouds as well? or was that another mission???

They removed those? what a shame What?

That greenish was recon 3/3, but there was a l3 with a astounding white atmosphere.
Can´t remember the mission name.

No it wasn't recon. It was one where you were suppose to go in and kill the owner of some luxury liner, some heiress or something like that.

I could be wrong, but I suspect that a lot of people experience some fairly significant frame rate issues in those missions.

I also found Recon 3/3 on youtube... It was some kind of greenish place with these tornados. Very nice.

Yeah, it was a totally awesome backdrop effect. I'm not sure why they killed it.

Being inside Nebula and anomalous areas of space is always cool. I'm not sure which mission it was, but I ran one very much like this when I first started doing level I's in Caldari Space on my ~original character.
