I need a frigate killer, be it a cruiser or destroyer or another frigate, its gotta kill frigates.

The options here are endless. The famous examples are the Vexor, Caracal, Arbitrator, Myrm, Domi, Cynabal, Vagabond, Daredevil, Thrasher, and so many more. But the truth is that most anything can be made into a frig muncher with a little effort.

Double web cruisers .. sheesh.

SFI .. insane tracking with 220's, can armour tank more than enough to survive against multiple frigs leaving the four mids free for an extra point/web/eWar .. SFI is as far as you need to look when it comes to killing frigs.

If you absolutely want to go dessie route then one of the new Caldari/Shakorite would be best as light missiles laugh at frigs regardless of range, for anything <20km the Coercer is still king (DLP for the win!).

RLML Caracal, mostly for immunity to tracking disruptors. You can get ships that will be slightly better at killing blobs of frigates, but they're generally gimmicky and will be shut down by inevitable ewar if you try to engage too many.

Navy caracal is barely better than a normal caracal and costs 4 times as much.

Navy caracal is barely better than a normal caracal and costs 4 times as much.


I would suggest the same to you. The RML caracal us no longer the only anti-frigate missile boat. A bellicose lacks one launcher but has larger drone bay and bandwidth, better speed, and similar slot layout. Additionally, right now everyone thinks the bellicose is a horrible ship, so will try to engage for the easy kill, which helos bring the targets in.

He's pointing out that a normal Caracal is pretty much on par these days with a Navy one. What the FCK does that have to do with what what you're talking about.

Also to the OP: pick something that's not too scary or they simply won't engage you or even let you get close. Try an AB stabber with scram/ double web, 220mm and and 2 small neuts. Not a lot of EHP but enough to kill the frig and cheap as hell.

Stabber fleet Issue. Not too expensive, the speed and the trackingboni on the autocannons is really great to kill frigs.
