OK, that came in at about 7.3 on my 'Weird-Sh1t-O-Meter.'

I've seen stranger stuff, but not very often.

Me too. It's an uncontrollable response. The devil made me do it.

A biker friend told me this tale about the funeral for a member of his club. Biker guy dies, so they have the funeral parlor dress him in his riding gear and sit him on his Harley. To get him to the cemetary, they put him and the bike on a flatbed farm trailer pulled by a tractor. So it's like a parade going through the small upstate NY village. Dead biker guy on a flatbed, with a full Harley escort ahead and behind. They're going at tractor speed, and of course saluting the guy with as much Harley noise as they can lay out. At the cemetary they lower him, bike and all, into the grave. Buried with his Harley-- ancient pharoahs had nothing on this guy. Smile

Too bad that EVE players can't be buried with their ships.

So i've come across this recent trend of building houses for fairly cheap out of shipping containers. Thinking that may be a good idea when i turn my back on society.

Put em underground and you have a instant bomb shelter. There is a company that is doing that now. Yours perhaps?

Nah, the last thing i'd want is neighbors. And the beauty of it is the most expensive thing is usually transporting the containers to where you want them. From there you can develop them as you please by yourself, with all your new spare time that used to be spent dealing with a profoundly sick society.

And i'd be above ground for sure. Too easy to be entombed in a bunker.

We did the best we could to give vile_rat a viking funeral.

Considering where CCP is loacted, I'd think a special 'viking funeral' event for deceased capsuleers would be something they'd be sympathetic towards...

Why build when you can buy ugly U.S. government properties cheap? This little gem in Grant, New Mexico has a current bid of $1,000. Once a whole small naval air station in Wisconsin went for about $100,000. The bathroom in the main building had about 20 urinals. Can't beat that. Any savvy hermit ought to keep an eye on government auction sites. Some good stuff in some really god-forsaken places.

Edit: Link won't work. Typical government inefficiency. Here's the URL: http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucitsrh/

that's just being a good friend.

wonder what I'll have done with my eve pilots.

probably involves a 10 year evemon training plan, and a subscription fee trust

does CCP have a lifetime subscription deal? $2000? $3000? $5000? x5 lol

c'mon CCP let's make some history. 30yr old American pays $25,000.00 to have five characters on a lifetime subscription to EVE Online. only in america
