Dude, I'm still here and I never left. I've already tallied all the information from the forums and I was going to put in reservations for February 23rd once I gave everyone ample time to submit there opinions and votes (as per my previous post) which my internal deadline was this weekend. Don't worry, everything is on track and taken care of, Especially all the other little things that go with a meetup this size.

Also, there are other people in the in-game channels that havent posted on the forums that I will be notifying.

You hadn't replied to the post in almost a month(3+weeks), I've been super active on the in-game channel and even went as far as adding you to my contact watch list. I waited a week before I acted on your inactivity.

I've posted the Google form link in both the forums and on the eve channel. My experience was that people in the TheSound were oblivious that there was even a meetup in the works. If you would like a link to the Google doc form let me know, as the date you mentioned is not the best date, taking into account the 10 people who have filled out the form.

Also, you really can't say you were here the whole time when your last comment was 26 days ago and the link has been up for half a week.

I believe we have a opinion and communication issue here.

You think I would go all the way up there and check the place out myself to see if there was enough room for our group and to talk with the managers to see if the weekends I had posted where available to just throw it all away? You think I would purchase special eve-related hand-out items to not hand them out?

I didn't reply to the forum in three or more weeks because, as I said before, I was allowing the group, not just yourself, to make an unanimous decision on the topics I provided threw the forum system, simple as that. Do you want me to post something everyday to satisfy your opinion of my activity level?

Being super active in the in-game channel now doesn't nullify what I had told many of them in early december.

You said you went as far as adding me to your activity list? What about a in-game message, a forum post, or an out-of-game-message if you were concerned with my and the groups timeframe? I have no records of any attempt to contact me, especially if you intended to disrespectfully try to take over the out of game activity I am planning.

It's nice that you have 10 people signed up on your google form (Thats a pretty sweet idea by the way), but what about the other twenty people in this forum? As I said in my other post, everything, from times, dates, personal messages and people attending I am already prepared to take care of.

Im not here to argue. Im here to have fun and plan an event. If you wanted to help, all you had to do was let me know, not try to take over the whole activity.

Anyhow;

I know it's taken quite some time to get here, but it's finally here, due to some needed pushing from Kheket.

There has been a few additions to the dates as you can see from the RSVP form below:

Please fill out the form and all of the data will be collected and read within a week from today. We are expecting upwards of 20 attendees for this event, pushing many venues into their second tier meeting room capacities so it is very important that you RSVP as soon as possible.

Exophace. Glad your back. Sorry, I thought you had dropped the ball, had gone inactive or something, it happens to the best of us, real life > internet spaceships. We all enjoy the **** out of Eve and want to drink beer and be merry. I was not trying to be hostile or steal this event from you. I would like to add that you could have just pm'd me to settle this whole thing as well.

For others to read: I have forwarded the previous form data to Exophace, so unless you want to add some of the dates available above or make known the time you want to meet, you should not have to resubmit it.

This is a very good display of data and I believe we can accommodate 77% of everyone that RSVP'd. I would also like you all to keep in mind if this turns out to be a success, then we will rotate between weekdays and weekends (for those of us that absolutely do not have weekends off), all of the venues we can come up with (to make the landscape fresh and maintain an average distance for everyone to travel), and times of the day that we start the events (to accommodate people that get out of work later than others) so that everyone of us gets a chance to attend a meetup.

We also have a fair bit of time (Six days - Until January 31st) for the stragglers to RSVP before concrete reservations are in place. In addition, sorry for spamming the mailing list and your evemail boxes with crap from the browser-based evemail client Oops

Moneys money, I'm sure we all understand. I wish I still lived up in your neighborhood, it was the best time (We are planning to move back soon).

Orakkus, weather issues over the pass and money is exactly why I wanted to wait just a little bit longer. I know we have a handful of you guys on the east side of the mountains.

Neither of you fret though, we WILL have either another event or a rotating series of events what everyone will be able to attend.

On another note, two more members RSVP'd since the previous update and it looks like they will be able to attend. Putting the attendee count to 17-19 (Not accounting for a last-minute loss of 2-3)!

Those of us in Spokane and the surrounding areas who are unable to get to Seattle on a regular basis should look into meeting up as well. Any of you other Eastern WA guys have a suggestion for a gaming friendly tavern?

Based on the data that we all provided, the event will be at the AFK Tavern at 5:00PM either Saturday, February 16th or Saturday, February 23rd.

So about the tie breaker: Personally I'm leaning towards the 23rd. I know thats an additional week away but it may bring more availability towards the few people that need a little more time and money than others, especially if they were to brave the pass at this time. If anyone is apposed, please let me know.

As for the reservations, they will be placed on the 1st of February. AFK Tavern has already assured me of the availability and ease of accommodations for our party's size, so everything on there end is ready to go.
