wish i had been in on it, don't have the isk or the connex though, i'm too a point where everything i can do in eve with a few billion isk bores me, the problem is that i don't have many billions of isk to do something entertaining, i'm starting to see how people eventually quit EVE.. even if i did have the isk, i'd probably just get disconnected and lose my super Roll

You don't have the ISK or connections to fly a noobship to Lowsec and get on killmails in the middle of an hours long fight that was publicized on the EVE news sights as it was happening?

The videos do not capture the intricacies in a large fleet battle. In these heavily TiDi situations, pilots are presented with a host of unique problems. Under heavy TiDi, a few seconds of delay easily becomes minutes of delay. Each mistake you make can take minutes to correct (e.g. deploying sentries instead of fighters, switching targets). In normal small gang combat, you can make a decision and, within seconds, measure the result to make adjustments. In these fleet battles, minutes will pass before you can even start to observe the results, all the time realizing that reinforcements are on their way unencumbered by TiDi. You can't dilly-dally. And you can't afford to make mistakes.

But that would eliminate three-fourths of the nulsec players that are afraid to post with their mains...

I sometimes have to wonder when the harshness of space was replaced with the soft foamy feel of a theme park.

I see no problem with that. Also very little evidence that your premise is true, but v0v.

It would of been better if there were bubbles bombs and DDs being flung around. Also it would of been better if it was planned so that CCP reinforced the node. That being said. Null is baloooed up.

The fight would have been much more interesting, and moved much faster if it was in null with all the DD's going off.

Also Bubbles to make everyone stick around.

Anyway, I had quite a bit of fun whoring on Caps and Titans in my bomber.

My one regret is that I didn't whore on both of boats supercaps before they popped.

Because I was in delve.

No end-games for EVE please. I was reading through this myself a short while ago and thought, 'end-game? wtf?' Bad Soundwave.. Bad!

Really, jokes aside, (and not very good ones at that), EVE doesn't have an end game, it simply has a limitation of what you can do, and how far you can go. Hopefully, we'll see this elevated rather than lessened in the future. I am all for the Supercap Cores, (and Titan ones too), though.

Last time I played Poker it was a rather nervous affair with a shark of a woman. She beat me, hands down. I don't mean to imply anything by that, but it is a funny sort of expression given the circumstances. Blink

I just would like to point out, even tho capital ships require litle piloting, fitting one right and having the right implants matter tho it may seem like an easy enough task i see so many supers fit stupid and not like they should.

Well, not all of us 'Hisec' folk found it boring. Some of these people will whine regardless of what sec they are in.

You're right of course, there are haters everywhere, not just in high sec (and we know they are only a crazy fringe of high sec, not nearly everyone). It just boggles my mind that these vocal high sec based haters are so warped that they could look at the best, most epic part of EVE Online and find a way to crap on it.

Perhaps they are simply jealous (because nothing THEY will ever do will make real world news) , but whether it is that or something only a real life psychologist would be helpful for, it's still absolutely crazy.
